Ummm... Killing of a child in unison?

I walked out of my little hut in a town, starting as an unimportant demigod, went to visit the market to steal procure some weapons and arms, but when I walked into a running around boy, every single merchant, in unison, spat, then drew their knives, and slaughtered the boy!!! The hell guys?!? Why did they do that?

He probably bumped into someone and injured them, making him an enemy of the civ. Sucks to be that kid!

Lottery day is always so exciting, isn't it? Sounds like your lucky (no longer having to live in the df world) boy drew the winning ticket.

I'm curious to know what really happened, though. When your adventurer meets the inevitable (stops typing to chant "it was inevitable") gruesome demise, look it up in Legends!

StagnantSoul, was this in 40.12? the AI reactions seem different now and I'm getting overreactions to cats freaking out over troglodytes not attacking anybody. Got one of my adventurers killed out of nowhere.

If you can reproduce it or find it again, perhaps post on http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=7161 since it's connected to the whole morale and combat escalation thing. Though check in legends about whether the kid was a werebeast.
