!!SCIENCE!!:Ravens can use tools!?

According to the ravens information, it can use tools. It can also be made into a pet.

Time to conduct !!SCIENCE!! to discover whether or not ravens can actually use tools.


Current information:

Ravens can and will steal items.

Ravens can be made into pets.


Test 1:

Leave a wooden training axe laying outside so that a raven can steal it. See if they start using it in combat or chopping down trees trololo~

Good luck assigning it labors!

Also "tools" probably refers to things like "cactus needle" in the method of the finch using cactus needles, or the gorilla using sticks to catch ants.

This clearly requires !!science!! I expect you to sacrifice no less than 20 dwarves whilst trying to figure out if ravens can use tools!

I know for a fact that they will take items and  carry them off. I just need to see if they are capable of making use of them...


First test: Stockpile a dagger somewhere and see if a raven makes use of it. I have several flying around my map.
