You lie on a steel bed, slowly slipping in to consciousness. You hear a slight crackling, and a synthesized voice begins speaking.
Hello, patient Delta-42. You have undergone a forced mutaaatio-
The voice stutters, slows, then fades into nothingness with a sharp beep, followed by static. At this point, you've managed to force your eyes open. Looking around reveals that you are in a dilapidated lab, with the walls falling apart and rust plaguing everything. While likely once sturdy and secure, the bars holding you into the bed have since rusted to the point of being fragile.
You stand up, and instantly stagger. Your legs seem to be quite weak from disuse, suggesting that you've been out for quite some time, like everything else in the room. It is at this point that you become aware of a small band clamped around your calf. It's squeezing tightly, though not quite enough to hurt.
You also quickly realize that you aren't a normal human. While the full extent of the changes aren't entirely clear to you yet, you notice that your fingers are almost sucker-like, with your toes being the same. You also feel somehow... different, though you aren't entirely clear on what "normal" is. The static abruptly stops.

Remove band.
Test strength of suckers.

You reach down and try to remove the band, but as you pull it, the band tightens. A message flashes on a screen on the band, asking for a passcode. You then begin testing your suckers by hanging on the walls and lifting items with them. It would seem that you can hold things that are about 1 pound, and you can hold yourself on a wall for about one minute.
