A kill list 50k+ long is amazing, but I'm more intrigued by the two dwarf civs at war with one another.  Does that mean that we can be sieged by dwarves now?

250 years. Of course, none of those kills were before she escaped from imprisonment in 159... so she got all of those in less than 100 years.

Okay so say 90 years, assume that a DF year is 365 days, then it's 365x90 = 32850. So we divide the number of kills by the number of days 50631 and we get 1.54 approx.

So Gedor averaged slightly over three kills every two days.

A dwarven year is 336 days, so we get 1.67 kills a day.

(The precise number the calculation gives is 1.674305555..., but significant digits and all that)

I just tried your params on a totally vanilla DF and got a different history. Gedor was still there, but didn't get captured (and didn't do much of anything else).

What version number did you gen this world in, and did you make any raw modifications?

Totally vanilla, no raw modifications whatsoever. In fact, I've been getting the same results when trying to regen. It's really annoying! Otherwise, you better BELIEVE I'd gen for a couple thousand years and see what happens.

Crossroads, the file was uploaded in the first post, but you won't be able to find her in adventure mode - she's in a dark fortress, which currently isn't implemented. Sad!

I don't think genning for a longer period of time actually works... the seed is partially dependent on end year. However, I was trying to gen the world normally and stop it short while the demon was still a prisoner, then recruit her. Sad that it seems now to be un-recreatable.

I did some experimentation with worldgen; will start a Science thread when I've done some more tests. What's notable here is:
Having DFHack installed can affect history.
Changing end year does NOT affect history.
Sometimes, history can do something different for no apparent goddamn reason whatsoever.

But that's not what you're here for. You're here for I let worldgen run to the year 325 and HOLY CRAP 87763 SENTIENT KILLS!!! For reference, that's more than the entire number of notable historical figures in the entire 325-year history of the world. (Not all sentient creatures are notable, just so you know.)

Legends mode identifies 64834 notable historical figures. This means that for every person or animal or god who's ever accomplished anything in their life, Gedor has personally killed 1.35 sentient creatures.
Gedor has 6148 notable kills. This means that out of every single person or animal who has ever made something of their life in this world, 9.5% have been killed by Gedor.
