If you can think of a myth that would fit the world, then go ahead and PM it, and I'll look it over and add it if I like it. Similarly, if a myth has been posted, and you feel you could make a few changes for the betterment of the myth, go ahead and PM me the changes.

Humans are an old race, easily found throughout history as a large influence. As of Outlanders, they are an increasingly weakening race, likely to go extinct, despite their increasing advances in defense.
It is theorized that in the three hundred years of the demon kings, humans had strength on par with trolls today, if not greater strength. They were comprised almost exclusively of warriors who could swing around massive weapons like small toys, and were the fighters who would cut the way for the other armies to rush through to finish off the demonic armies.
Scholars and historians have linked the end of this strength to a human fighter who slew three of the eighteen demon kings completely alone, known as The Slayer. The only relic remaining of this fighter is a sword seven feet and nine inches in length, and two feet and four inches in width. The sword, even before it became aged and withered was a cracked and demolished weapon that lacked an edge. The humans still pray to the weapon in hopes that The Slayer would aid them in battle.
The humans always try to stay at the forefront of technology and politics with the dwarves, their historic rivals. Humans have attempted to outpace the dwarves, but are typically matched within months when they do.

Human weapons are stylistic, and typically not suited for prolonged combat. Their armor is not much different. There are two blacksmiths in the world capable of making human-style weapons that can be considered worth using, and both smiths charge enough to fill both hands of an army with weapons many would consider good enough for combat to make a single human weapon of high quality.

Dwarves easily chime in as the oldest known race of civilized peoples. They struggled alone for nearly a century before the other great civilizations began rising, fighting off ogres, golems, demons, and dragons. It wasn't until the third century, when Chronus planted the seeds of time in the first Order of Six that the dwarves felt constantly on the brink of extinction. Of the first Six, five were dwarves, the only non-dwarf being the first King of Fairies, solidly planting into the minds of dwarves that fairies were of equal standing, and not to be trifled with.
During the time of the first Six, the dwarves took the opportunity to grow. They dug into the planet and discovered the sacred ores of the gods, and became smiths of legendary talent for a time. When they reached the pinnacle of that mountain, they climbed another, expanding into ranged combat. And again, they reached that pinnacle. The dwarves have spent nearly their entire existence advancing technology in an effort to never face such conditions again, and they now stand on the mountain of the next generation of technology.
The dwarves have no defined heroes, they are considered an entire race of such beings. The closest to a hero they will acknowledge is the First Ancestor, the man who pushed the limits of his life for thousands of years to keep his people safe until the gods would give them hope.
