Meh.

Metro and Red Faction are pretty good games and Warhammer is ok for a 3rd person rpg but only lasts like what 6 hours.

Yup. Personally, I bought it. I can't imagine I'll get around to playing all of them, but I've heard Metro 2033 is decent.

Homefront has the dumbest premise. Metro is far too linear (Linear STALKER? Then it's not STALKER.). Ditto to Armageddon. Space Marine bored me very quickly.
So. Meh. AAA is a meaningless stamp. Function over form wins me over.

Eh, I haven't played any of the STALKER games (although there is one included in the bundle!), nor do I consider linear to be a bad thing, depending on the style of the game, so I figure I should enjoy Metro 2033 reasonably, depending on how well it's done in general. I've heard hilarious things about Red Faction Guerrilla, and I think there's a definite possibility of Space Marine being enjoyable.

For $9.99? Not a bad deal. :P
Just my personal opinion, though.

Wow. That THQ deal is pretty darned good. I'm not able to run any of them now, but I'm going to be buying a new computer in the next month that can. I can vouch for Metro 2033 being pretty darned good (though I've only played the console version); STALKER is naturally wonderful, but I already own it; RF:G was a fun sandboxy thing; I've heard meh about Homefront and RF:Armageddon; the 40K game will probably be at least an hour or two of fun.

But yeah, even Metro 2033 alone would be good for the price. I'm sold. Which, incidentally, means that I need to make a thread for the STALKER giveaway.

I found this page and am looking forward to getting a few of the upcoming lightning sales. It's not all PC. But I doubt most of us just play on the PC. Some great sales coming up in the next few days.

Amazon's upcoming video game lightning sales.

As someone who games completely on PC and who's PS3 is nothing more than a glorified media player sitting under the TV I can't say the lighting sales really impressed me. The only thing that seems worth dropping money into would be Dishonoured. I've heard good things about Dragon's Dogma but I've been waiting (in vain) for a PC port.

The Ratchet & Clank collection is also good, if you have a PS3. (If you don't but have a PS2, you can probably still get all three seperately)

Never really played any Genesis games. Anything in there truly worth getting? (Keeping in mind that I don't have any nostalgia for these games)

The ones I can personally vouch for:

Eternal Champions - Fun fighting game back in the day
Fatal Labyrinth - Randomly generated roguelike
Shining Force, Shining Force II - Two of my favorite games of all time.  RPG, grid-based combat.
Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium - Also one of my favorite RPGs of all time

SF1, SF2, and PS4 are well worth the $5 alone, in my opinion.
