Do you still need extra overseers for this fort? If so I would like a turn  :P

@firehawk re:

>> Speaking of Meph, it looks like he does not have a lower body.... Hes got 3 pairs of trousers equipped, but all on the torso. I dont know how thats possible, but he is still complaining about not being covered.

For some reason body_default gives the name "Torso" to the lowerbody.    The upperbody is "Chest"

[BODY:HUMANOID]
   [BP:LB:torso:torsos][CON:UB][LOWERBODY][CATEGORY:BODY_LOWER]
      [DEFAULT_RELSIZE:1000]

(nice update too :)

Haha if you don't get the fort destroyed i would probably finish it off  ;)

I'm pretty familiar with the game and mod, but doing a succession fort would definitely be new for me!

some soap hammer heads

How did anyone manage that ? No, realy I would like to know, this sounds like a bug. Or "feature" as some people call it.

Yeah, Chest and Torso... how else should I call Upper and Lower Body ? Torso and Hip ?

That would have made more sense, as i was imagining our Magmamancer being naked from the hip downwards and having trousers bound around his chest, calling it his "torsocovering".

errr, i might have misread the "soap hammerhead". Its actually "scrap hammerhead". Im kind of ill at the moment, so forgive me for that one.

I think i will continue tomorrow, after this sad death coming to get my whole squad. Never had to deal with warpstone before, and goblins jumping on the tower didnt help.

Torso and Hip sounds okay.  or how about just "Chest" and "Lower body"?

I'll take a turn after them - but not before the 26th, preferably - finding good speed internet is problematic at the moment.

At what level of metal is the fortress?

Last I checked we had a bit of everything, enough Steel to be reasonably well armed as well as some stocks of Mithril and the Welded metals, don't really have any spoiler metals yet, I think we fear hitting cavern level three and watching FPS slow to a crawl. The sticking point at the moment seems to be coal, we have few deposits and life on the surface can get rough at times for the woodcutters.

All that Panopticon said, but also since last he's been up Ishar found a huge coal vein.  limiting factor is probably dwarfpower not fuel.  Fair supplies too of the $$ metals gold, aluminum, platinum, titanium.
