@Aseaheru, That could well be.  I'm not sure how mating works for kobolds.  Of course, kobolds probably don't know how mating works for kobolds.

@Vgray, I actually have no idea what Taz was up to.  He may have been asleep?

@Splint, We got pretty lucky!  A couple of very superficial injuries that healed before the end of the season.

@BerserkNINJA, Yeah, I can probably make that happen! 

@OREOSOME, I may try to get some rocks at some point, but I suspect obsidian will end up being out of our price range!

@Fniff, Woo!  Kobold musicians!  Mind if I steal the kobold verse and stick it in the first post?

@NRDL, The kill actually ended up going to Blue who straight up head-shotted it from like 5 feet away.  I was watching the screen going, "Ah crap, Blue, don't go up there.  Shoot from a distance!" and then the S turned into a corpse S.  I've got to agree with you, this fortress is feeling much more koboldy and awesome to me.  Every step of the way is going to be difficult as well it should be!

@DeepBlue, Thank you very much!  I can try to do a picture like that every once in a while to keep things properly updated!  Maybe once every 2 seasons barring large amounts of construction in a single season?

Spring of 180 (One Year In!) is now underway!  Hopefully it goes better than Autumn, but worse than Winter!

P.S. If we got an IRC channel going for chatter would people be interested in it?  Perhaps a more elegant way for me to chat about koboldy happenings while actively doing the camp.

Also, in between posts I'm now working on a little drawing project to depict the kobold gods.  I'm done with pencil-drawing four of them and intend to colored-pencil them in and likely use pen on the lines.  Of course, I'm not actually any sort of an artist, but it's a little thing to amuse myself between when I can post.  Here is a sample of Godruprus before color/ink using my phone's camera to upload it.

Well, here's my rendition of the vengence god Srojlachlis (Hope I spelled that right)



Colors and whatnot are subpar for what I could do but I wanted it done before I fell asleep so I skimped on that part. Claw motif, bare spots where's been scarred heavily, and blind in his right eye (I went with the usual, though typically inaccurate from what I can tell, discoloration of the eye to represent that.)

"Not eye for eye... Eye for two eyes!" - The main teaching of the vengence god.

Med will be coming next. Then probably Godruprus, since I have an Idea of what to work with.

EDIT: Tada! Here's my rendition of Med. I went with a lightly armed and armored (emphasis on lightly) slaver crossed with a tiny bit of Kobold tribalism and a dominatrix. I was lazy with the net, but I did a little better on the color.

The post should (barring RL complications) be coming up tonight at some point!  Unfortunately, given my weird work-schedule (which some of you know about) I likely won't be able to post again until Sunday.  What does that mean?  Well, not a lot.  Maybe I'll throw up another poll if anyone has any ideas for what I should ask.  Otherwise, feel free to post stories, pictures, journals, or questions!

Also, the IRC has been a pretty fun time thus far and I'll be on it except for when I'm having dinner.  The link again is here.  I know very little about IRC, so hopefully this isn't a totally inelegant way to go about it!
