I thought I’d give a game that’s been on my mind a try. Effectively, you will role-play 5 gods, new to this world. Entrusted to each and every one of you is a small tribe. At the moment, they are small. Insignificant on your scale. But you can sense that they are willing to learn, willing to advance their lives and willing to prove themselves to you.
If you think you are up to the challenge, proceed. But before we get into the rules and what not, I'd like to make a few things clear.
-Please do NOT apply if you aren't serious about the game. I really want to see if I will be able to successfully run this, and that's rather difficult with trolls.
-I understand that English may not be a primary language to you, but please, try your hardest to be grammaticly correct in your posts. I'm fine with mistakes, as long as I don't start seeing; Lolz, Ill tots eat him lol.
With that out of the way, Lets begin.
BasicsAs stated above, the players in this game will take over the roles of five newly created gods, young of this world. Your goal is to advance the tribes and help them survive. Don't worry about Math or rules, I'll take care of all of that. All I ask of the players is that you role-play each turn out, try your hardest to use proper grammar, spelling and capitalization. I have a fair system for all magic, fighting, divine powers, etc.
Each turn will be based in the time of a season. In this season, you must pick an activity to be done for that season (see list below). If none is picked, I will assume you tell your tribe to spend the season in idle prayer to you.
At the moment, I just need to see that people are interested. Feel free to flesh out your character, but your domains will be randomly picked based upon what your divine inclination is.
Game play will take place on a hex map. Resources, tribes and other things will be represented by different tokens.
Not much is needed for character creation on your part. You need to pick a name for your god, and eventually you will need to pick a manifest. Your manifest is what you look like to the people of your tribe, and what your fellow gods see you as.
You must also pick an Inclination. This can be anything you could possibly think of, and It will make miracles of that nature cost less of your worship for the season. Suggestions might be Creation or Magic, for example. Your domains will be half based upon your inclination, and partially based upon what type of people your tribe holds. You may pick from four different types: Physical, Spiritual, Intellectual or Balanced. They are fairly self-explaining, but if you have any questions about them, feel free to ask. If you would like to suggest a new tribe type, don't be afraid to ask. Just make sure that it's semi-fleshed out, and I'll most likely be fine with it.You'll also get a title, which will represent your domains and inclination.
Prepare for War: Your tribe spends time arming themselves. No real military, but a lot better than a bunch of peasants
Gather: Your tribe gathers all season, helping to increase their health and numbers
Construction: Your tribe gather's together to work on a construction that you planned out. Some constructions make take many seasons, but you can always drop them and pick them up later.
Celebrate: Your tribe spends the season in idle celebration, giving you a minor increase to prayer.
Dark Green: A healthy population of around 100. These represent the hard working members of your tribe. May be split into one white token and one red token.
White: A small or sick population numbering around 50 people.
Red: Military. This can be any number, and will usually be stated on, or above the tile.
Purple: A large population. May split into two Dark Green tokens.
