Scruffy could you give me a full list of new dorflings (including the ones that are already dead)?  Just so I can keep the OP up to date.

Also don't bother re-dorfing me.  I'd actually rather go dorfless at this point.

ive gotten in the habit of replacing my chief medical dwarf as soon as he gains any notable skill in diagnosis.
It's really funny watching them do unnecessary surgery because of a wrong diagnosis.
the conditions were bad enough to turn a dwarf who didn't care about anything mad, that's pretty hardcore.

You could put either all or a bit of it in the OP?

I suppose that this is all of them. I just named random people as I got dwarves. Many of them were pretty much just generalists since the proper workers died.

          -Yep, a bad combo but the miners died.

Aye, it is over. I only made it to mid/late winter. Didn't manage to finish the challenge. (many of the bridges are still unconnected, farms unwatered and rooms unfurnished)

Edit: As for the challenge:
Challenge: Simple. Retake the fort and clear it from enemies.
1. Have all the upper levels under your control so you can get the fort back to its normal functions. (pretty much everything above the caverns.)
2. Have the mainstaircase under your control.
3. Have access to the upper caverns. Seal it up, build a new airlock or what ever you desire.

Reward: You retook what was rightfully ours. You are the hero of our hairy little society and thus you can wear what ever armor and weapons we have and have access to a safehouse with food and drinks for a few months. Thus, if something goes wrong, you can chicken out and will outlast the rest of the fort and be the last dorf standing.
Punishment: The ramps (or what ever those things were) are littered with webs. Your dwarf has to become a spinner and start producing cloth from the numerous webs in the upper caverns.

I just noticed something.  I think we may have fallen victim to the "more than 10 reclaims" glitch that causes mass amounts of cavern creatures to spawn.  If that's the case we will very likely need to use DFHack to fix it.

It's the hardest challenge yet.
Oh, I didn't mean the whole stairway, just the few top levels. I changed it a bit to make it more clear.

Failed, for the exact same reason I failed my challenge.  It's hard to build stuff when the dead bodies of those building it keep attacking you. 
Also, I would like a re-dorf.  Lightningfalcon, doesn't matter what gender, and some random position in the militia. 
ANd a random note- There is some kind of entrance from one of the caverns to the fort.  So the next person might want to seal that up.

Is it still reclaimable, you think?
Yes. A few military dwarves should be able to clear it since there shouldn't be too many zombies inside (and there are plenty of doors to seal parts of the fort.)
