Single Pick Challenge! Terrifying Embark, 7 Peasants, and a Pick! Videos!

Tired of Living? Terrifying hoards of undead too easy? Want to put your dwarfs on a diet and take their booze away for a wile?
Then try this suicidal challange! Embark in a Terrifying area with only a pick and 7 unskilled dwarves!

As a seasoned lets player I can show you how its done, with humor, silliness, and lots of good editing!
My first demonstration takes place in a Terrifying Tundra with an aquifer.

If you manage to construct a stable fortress, I shall erect a megastatue in your honor.

Also, I wouldn't mind watching a little Azated freeze to death and then being picked in the face as he stands up again.

Nice work so far, nice to see you made it in with the caverns not being too nasty (yet!)

Pond grabbers are one of the best things to find in that sort of embark. they just chill in the water and stay there for like years before leaving the map, so you'll be safe for a long while.

Will be interesting after first migrant wave.

Thats kinda dissapointing. You would think ,by their name, that they grab dwarves out of the water and drown them.

Well I finished recording for the day. Did 3 episodes! :D so if no one else gets dwarfed for a wile its cause of that. And I think I'll move up my posting schedule and have the next video up as soon as its done encoding and uploading and stuff.  :D

Thats kinda dissapointing. You would think ,by their name, that they grab dwarves out of the water and drown them.

they do if dwarves are stupid enough to come close. But seeing they don't leave the water they arn't much of a threat. So you can happily drink water in a non infested pond dweller area.
If you had say 6 trogoldytes down there, thinks could get nasty very quickly.
