My views on breastfeeding:
I feel uncomfortable around it - even if it's my own sister -, and so do many (!) people. It's irrational, but the discomfort is there. Nevertheless there's no reason to ban the practice. The ideal solution would be for nursing mothers not to breastfeed in public if reasonably possible, and for nobody to complain when they do, because nobody has a God-given right in either direction. Just have a degree of empathy for your fellow man human, regardless of which side you're on!
The same reasoning applies to running around naked in public. There's no reason to forbid me from waving my schlong every which way in Times Square, but it's rather rude since many people don't want to see it, at least in my experience so far.
Not everything should need to be regulated by laws.

Hey, we all have our burden to bear! Having muscles and various tissues comes with all kinds of problems. Just because skeletons can't technically walk or breathe or drink juice doesn't mean MY problems don't matter just as much.

Thinking kids are absolute monsters on average is not collectivist. Stop using that word every time you disagree with something I say. Christ. There's no way you are using it properly every time, either. Since it gets used in such a myriad of situations and whenever it feels convenient to the accuser.

Just going to chime in that this is a perfect use of the word collectivist as Helgoland has been consistently using it: assigning blame to a group for the actions of some of its members. In this case he was pointing out that not all kids are annoying, so it's not fair to punish them all for the actions of some.

There is room for it, but I feel that enforcing that type of thing would be unfair. It should be more flexible than all that- besides, it serves a purpose, which one can't say about...hrm...how'd Helgo put it?

Well, I'm pretty certain male and female milk glands are functionally identical, men just lack the hormones(/hormonal activity) to activate theirs. So good news! All you need is a hormone treatment and then you can lactate all you want.

And if you meant it the other way around, well, the world is a big place. I'm sure somewhere out there is somebody willing to be your nurse
