Exit polls (unsurprisingly) predict Syriza landslide.
I am slightly drunk/hung-over, so the finer nuances of this controversy may be lost on me, but anyway, here's how I understand the grand saga of Greece vs. EU:

1. Greek "taxpayers" (read: politicians, petty bureaucrats, and unscrupulous entrepreneurs) keep robbing the state coffers for years on end.

2. Greek government extorts enormous sums from EU members, who recommend robbing the taxpayers blind as a "corrective measure."

3. Greek taxpayers start pillaging state and EU coffers once again, but now with a vengeance.

Points two and three aren't quite accurate, but point one captures the problem quite nicely.

I'm going to do the smart thing here and disengage. This isn't a hill I paticularly care to die on.

Doublepost time!
Apparently Syriza might miss the absolute majority, forcing them to join a coalition and presumably enact a more moderate program. The Greek election system awards 50 of the 300 seats to the strongest party.

2. Greek government extorts enormous sums from EU members, who recommend robbing the taxpayers blind as a "corrective measure."
3. Greek taxpayers start pillaging state and EU coffers once again, but now with a vengeance.
More like:
1. Corrupt politicians rob state coffers for year on end, Greek government also ridiculously keen on pushing its budget into a deficit with a bloated public sector.
2. Greece continues to borrow money from German banks to fund this until the recession happens at which point they nearly default on their current debts.
3. Troika comes along and is like 'shit man what are you doing,' bails Greece out to try and stop the situation from blowing up the Eurozone some more.
4. Germany and Troika tell Greece it's austerity time or poverty time, Greece chooses austerity. Many Greeks are dissatisfied as they feel the money saved through austerity will just be lost in corruption. Blame is also laid on Germany for profiting off of unnecessary Greek defence contracts and also giving loans that Greece would not have been able to repay, much like how the banks gave loans to prospecting homeowners who would not be able to repay their loans in the event of a housing market crash.
5. Extreme-right and extreme-left parties rise in Greece accusing the EU of being a cultural-marxist borg entity intent on tookin urr juurbs or a parasitic capitalist horror run by Germany to siphon the wealth of other European nations respectively.
6. Merkellellllelelel
7. Greeks flee to work in Germany, study in Britain and grow fat in America.
8. Greece grows poorer.
9. Euroscepticism grows higher.
10. freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom (inevitable) as many Greeks want out and many EU states want Greece out.

You forgot the part where the ECB spends years reducing economic growth throughout Europe by keeping baseline rates higher then they need to be.  Also the part where Greece gets saddled with rates far higher then it should because the ECB decides that it's fun to remove lender of last resort operations in the middle of a crisis.  Sounds esoteric but this shit would have been resolved years ago and at much lower cost without those.

You, uh. Wouldn't happen to have the individual frames available, as well?

25 things that will definitely happen in the UK general election campaign. If you want to understand what a British general election is like, you needn't look anywhere else.

I loathe buzzfeed, but I like how "UKIP candidate will say something ridiculous and be forced to resign." appears there no less than four times.

It's funny because it's true.
