Does the happiness counter ignore children and babies?

Well, I dont know how useful or useless it would be, I just did not read anything about this fact, and was surprised that a fort with 150 dwarves shows only 110 in the happiness counter. Thats all.

It was a side effect of me tracking the happiness in the same routine that monitors the dwarf jobs... and children and babies don't have jobs.

I had meant to ask about this but forgot: does the happiness of children/babies affect them ingame? If so then I'll add them in the next update. If not, then I think including the information is redundant, so I'll keep it out and mention that in the next update.

Happiness of children has an effect, I've found. They are perfectly able to tantrum and break things.

I've just uploaded a new version with a few improvements:

• upgrading to r3
• the happiness monitor now counts children
• the activity monitor tracks history for 3 months, with the ability in the stats screen to view the averages over the last 1, 2 or 3 months. This should make it easier to see trends. There are also now more logical categories on the left column that group several related activities together, to make those figures a bit more useful. There's a third column added to give you a breakdown of the individual activities in a selected group (together with each activity's share in that group for the selected time period):

One question, the toggling between 1,2 and 3 months... which button is it? There is only the "ore" symbol in front of the "window months" text.

It's the asterisk key '*', same as what appears for the menu scrolling hotkeys, but I can see it could be confusing on its own. Maybe I should change it to '+'?

Your choice. I guess for ascii-users its simple enough, I tried up/down and 1,2,3 Guess its just me being daft, I should know which tile the ore uses. ^^

My / * - + keys on the numpad already move around varius menu's wouldn't that conflict? It was some laptop config from the LNP even though i don't use a laptop it was just more logical

My experience with DFhack keybindings is that it's not actually set to the * key at all, but rather specifically set to the menu navigation key, whichever it may be.
