Who's candles did you target Wuba?
I don't remember the first 2, but I targeted Vector's White and Vector's Green. I'll have to look up the other two, because they were Ranger's.

Thread's big, and the information is scattered. Since our powers have changed now, it's safe enough:

I need detailed full-claims for Day/Night 1-4, from everyone.

What I need from you:
Your God, and your Role-Power during Day 1-4

For each Day, I need the following:
1. The state of your candles at the start of the Day Phase.
2. Your Day-Votes, and a blurb on why you voted as you did.
3. The targets of any abilities you used, and why you did so

For each Night, I need the following:
1. The state of your candles at the start of the Night Phase.
2. Any Divine Wisdom you received
3. The targets of any abilities you used, and why you did so

Get to it as quickly as you can, but remember that accuracy is very important here. Yes it will take you a minute to do, but distributing the work makes this a lot quicker for everyone. Do it if you want to solve the puzzle. As a thank you, I'll use it to build a new list for everyone to use. I'll start:

Solifuge:
God: Nirian (Goddess of Fertility, Women, the Hearth)
Role-Power: None (never had Green Candle lit)

-------------------------
Day 1:
1. White: Lit, Green: Out, Teal: Out
2. Snuff Solifuge White (experimentation and puzzle-solving), Light Vector Green (Got a PM that said she wanted it done)
3. None (no green candle)
Night 1:
1. White: Out, Green: Out, Teal: Out
2. None (unconscious, no teal candle)
3. None (unconscious, no green candle)

-------------------------
Day 2:
1. White: Out, Green: Out, Teal: Out
2. None (unconscious, no teal candle)
3. None (unconscious, no green candle)
Night 2:
1. White: Out, Green: Out, Teal: Lit
2. None (unconscious)
3. None (unconscious, no green candle)

-------------------------
Day 3:
1. White: Out, Green: Out, Teal: Lit
2. None (unconscious)
3. None (unconscious, no green candle)
Night 3:
1. White: Lit, Green: Out, Teal: Lit
2. "You feel closer to your god than before."
3. None (no green candle)

-------------------------
Day 4:
1. White: Lit, Green: Out, Teal: Lit
2. Snuff Ottofar White (No.1 Scum suspect, keeps returning to life at night, having candle masked, etc.), Light Vector Green (Investigate Power is useful, scum afraid of this power since they keep removing it)
3. None (no green candle)
Night 4:
1. White: Lit, Green: Out, Teal: Lit
2. "You feel a great pressure, as if a storm is looming off in the distance."
3. None (no green candle)

Well, this is going to be the most boring status brief ever.

God: Avos

Candles: White Lit, Green Out, Teal Out. Never changed.
Powers: None.
Night Stuff: None.

Votes:
Day 1-
Light Remuthra's Green= Voted for the purpose of confirming green bestowing powers based on god.
Snuff Solifuge's White= Voted for the purpose of confirming the theory of White=Life.
Day 2-
Light Solifuge's Green= Voted for the purpose of eliminating the possibility that White=!Life as per Ottofar's apparently unlit White.
Light Solifuge's Teal= As above vote.
Day 3-
Snuff Ottofar's Green= Voted for the purpose of neutralizing Ottofar's ability. Voted green instead of white because of a suspicion of possible protections against white snuffing.
Light Solifuge's White= Voted for the purpose of bringing Solifuge back into the game.
Day 4-
Snuff Ottofar's White= Voted to neutralize Ottofar. Fear of protection has been allayed by previous resolution on Day 3.
Light Vector's Green= Voted to allow continued investigations from Vector, who claimed Investigation Power a while back.

Sounds fair.

God: Telmorin
Role-Power: Mastery of Law: Once per day you may Nullify a vote.

-----

I didn't really do anything throughout this thread, or have much done to me, so I'll just give the highlights.

-----

Every Night:

Nothing.

-----

Candles Which Have Never Changed:

White: Lit
Green: Lit
Teal: Lit

-----

Voted to snuff/relight the candle of Solifuge for science/honor, respectively and chronologically.

-----

Not much else to say here.

I at least have no reason not to do this, since I've already claimed all this information.

I'd also recommend using words instead of numbers, so it's less confusing.

Also, here's a template in case anyone wants to use it. It might save some people some time.

Code: [Select]
God:
Power:

Day 1

Stuff
Why?

1. Because.

2. It provides a convenient and centralized parcel of information, for people too lazy to read the thread. Helps when approaching the game as a puzzle, and for scumhunting.

3. Our role-powers have changed, so none of us have anything to fear from a public claim; scum can't really target us based on powers we no longer have.

4. We can look for patterns between Gods, Teal-candle info granted, and Green-Candle powers. This helps us decide which candle we want to light next, because we're trapped in a stalemate with Scum AT BEST. Non-white candles are probably the key to working around that.

PPE: In light of that, I ask you why not?

Nerjin already stated that his power has not effectively changed, making him uncomfortable with claiming.

I would like to hear if he feels the same way about claiming his god.

It seems that something dramatic changed last night. Okami claims to be able to light ALL teal candles, and that definitely seems like a stalemate breaker.

Solifuge: Everyone but Ottofar has posted. Have you given the person you suspect of causing the storm enough time to pipe up?

You're assuming that there's no problem with sharing as much information as possible. I disagree, especially when I'm not the one suggesting it. That's because the game stopped being a puzzle. If there aren't two Spies, then this is no longer a puzzle. This is a non-standard game.

You're saying this isn't a Puzzle as in a Logic Puzzle? As in your mental construction of the puzzle had 2 Scum acting as a dichotomy, where one represented Light, the other represented Darkness, and unlike in normal Mafia Games there's some condition that has to be met in order for us to win that isn't about finding and killing the Scum. Right?

I'm operating off the assumption that "breaking the power" of the agents involves snuffing the candles of the Scumteam, and is how we win. There may be a different win condition, but I wouldn't know where to start, so I'm applying Occam's Razor.

The puzzle I'm referring to is the nature of the mechanics, the scumteam itself, and how to break the stalemate we seem to be experiencing. I'm also disconcerted by the priest for bleeding out the eyeparts because that ain't normal, and it seems to indicate to everyone that a shit/fan convergence is on the horizon. IE. Time is running out.

PFP
Mod: I voted to Light Vector White. Is that votecount accurate?

Sorry, looks like I was off one on the spreadsheet. It's been fixed.
NOTICE: VECTOR IS IN THE HEALING HALL. [My flavor action dictates that I can't look her in the eye...which was addressed]. Her white candle is actually out.

...Yeah, this is me stating this just for a final notice.

I need detailed full-claims for Day/Night 1-4, from everyone.

PS. On that puzzle. We're battling Morasidis, aye?

What I recall about it.

She'll return by tomorrow morning, if I'm not redirected, that is. Sadly, its only for one phase...so she'd be back for the day tomorrow.

You probably shouldn't have claimed that, then.

Also, that means there's not much good to come from lighting Vector's white candle. We won't know if she revived because of Tiruin's ability or because we lit her white candle.

We could snuff Ottofar's white candle and let the scum perform that experiment for us should they decide to light up his white again.

My current theory is that lynches are permanent now, which certainly would put a limit on things.

My theories don't exactly have a good track record, though...

Also, when did you get that warning about the coming storm? At the beginning of the night? In the middle? If you got it at the start of the night, Okami's probably right, and the storm's already here.
