Who is Aijorluk?
Many ask this question of the Faithful, and is it a reasonable enough question. Simply put, Aijorluk is one of the Elder Gods, a race of timeless beings who predate and assisted in the creation of this universe. He and his fellow Elders are also referred to as the Star Gods by the faithful of the Elder Goddess Fen Fwa, for his creation of several of the "wandering stars" (now referred to as planets in modern astronomy) and somewhat less respectfully as an "Outer Being" or "Old One" by the priests of other religions.
On the False Gods
In addition to the Elder Gods, there exist a plethora of False Gods, who had little to nothing to do with the creation of this universe or any other. Among these are the Pretender Gods (referred to as "Natural" by their worshipers) who, by accident of birth, have within them the magical power to empower Priests, and the Parasite Gods, who have no such power within them but instead steal and redistribute it among their worshipers in order to exalt themselves. In addition to these False Gods, there exists the Chaos Circle, who shun all Gods, Elder and False alike, preferring instead to exalt themselves above any form of piety. It need not be said that the Divine Aijorluk repudiates all such groups.
Misconceptions About the Faith
The fervent distaste that Aijorluk and His followers share for the worshipers of the False Gods has given rise of late to certain misconceptions regarding the nature of Aijorluk's worshipers. Enemies of the Faithful have painted us as being crazed reavers, tearing down churches, burning homes, pillaging, kidnapping and dissolving people in acid. This is simply not the case! While our Lord commands the chastisement of the priests of the False Gods and their return to the true faith, the most extreme forms of punishment are restricted only to those priests who have renounced the Elder Gods and seek to destroy the Faithful.
Aijorluk and You
Aijorluk and His followers understand that, in this modern era where understanding of the true faith has been supplanted by the lies of the False Gods and the avidity of the materialistic ethos, those who would otherwise be faithful to the Elder Gods may not worship or even know of Them. In order to correct this disappointing state of affairs, the Congregation for the Faithful of Aijorluk have published this pamphlet. And so, in the name of Aijorluk, we invite you to join in His worship, as well as the worship of the rest of the Elder Gods. It is our sincere hope that you will find joy, contentment and many spiritual rewards once you become one of the Faithful!
The "Arkan-al-Aijorluk", or Pillars of the Faithful of Aijorluk, are the guiding principles of the Faith. They are as follows:
Reverence - Aijorluk and the other Elder Gods created the Heaven and Earth as a place of beauty. To seek out adventure, admire the heavens and congregate with peoples of all worlds are each sacred acts. Failure to seek out or appreciate the beauty of Creation is the foremost failure of Faith.
Piety - The worship of the Elder Gods has been usurped on Earth by the worship of False Gods who had no hand in the making of Creation. Aijorluk is a jealous god and thus the Faithful must denounce all such pretenders and instead strive to defend the Faithful from their wickedness.
Chastisement - In order for Justice to be returned to the universe, Aijorluk desires the imprisonment and chastisement of the Pretender and Parasite gods as well as all of their mortal and immortal servants. It is forbidden to assist those being punished in escaping their due punishment.
Restitution - Likewise, all material gains made by the rebellious ones are forfeit to the Faithful, as to make restitution for the myriad crimes which have been afflicted upon them. It is forbidden to give aid to any who have such unreturned wealth, save if such aid is also to the benefit of the Faithful.
Forgiveness - Aijorluk is as merciful as he is jealous. Those who renounce the worship of the False Gods and repent their impious ways are forgiven by the Elder Gods and shall be delivered from their punishments. No further chastisement is to be exacted upon or restitution made by converts.

Miracles of Aijorluk
Aijorluk is the sponsor of a priesthood extending from the Astral Seas to the furthest reaches of the Elemental Planes, and grants numerous spells and miracles to the Faithful. A small selection of them are described herein:
The Gifts of Travel are the most common miracles granted by Aijorluk, in order to aid with the Pillar of Reverence. Most commonly reported are the miraculous ability to speak languages of all sorts; the ability to walk on water, fly through air or float amid the aether; acts of healing, especially for exhaustion or injuries that would prevent travel; and the opening of portals between planes.
Of special note is the First Gift of Revelation, by which the Faithful may divine fortuitous paths to travel along by consulting the position of the planets - one might find Love by pursuing the Evening Star, or Justice by observing the moons and rings of the planet vulgarly referred to as Jupiter in modern times. Most priests of Aijorluk are glad to offer astronomic and astrologic guidance to the Faithful.
As implied by the name of the First Gift of Revelation, there is also a Second Gift of Revelation, by which Aijorluk speaks directly to the Faithful through the screams of tormented sinners. The Divine Presence of Aijorluk seizes hold of the tongue of the impious and forces them to deliver a message of divine importance to the attending Priest. It is through this Gift that the sincerity of converts and the release of the truly repentant can be achieved.
Of special note is Aijorluk's gift of the Poison of Anguish, a painful substance which burns constantly in the veins for days, but which can be cured instantly by soaking the poisoned wound in the blood of a Pretender God, or of a race which produces such deceivers. Though it leaves its victims in constant, immobilizing agony, it will never kill a victim, sparing their lives and giving them time to repent before the Priest who has so cursed them. Such is the mercy of Aijorluk.
The Waters of Aijorluk are one of the lesser punishments delivered by the Faithful. A sphere of acidic "water" is created and propelled toward the wicked, burning them and, if struck directly, filling their veins with the Poison of Anguish. A more powerful version of the spell are the Tears of the Faithful, which are said to be even more painful to heretics than the Waters, but are completely harmless to those who do not traffic with the False Gods. Other miracles of this type, such as prisons of frozen acid or lakes of burning, poisonous oil have also been known to occur. Aijorluk grants many other spells useful in the chastisement of the wicked, almost all of which have at least the potential to be used non-lethally or in the capture and imprisonment, rather than outright murder, of the wicked.
