Powered armor, a power sword, a melta gun, and a plasma pistol for ourself.

A squat, if such things exist, with a carapace, a lascannon and a power axe.

Two marines with powered armor, plasma guns, stub guns, and swords.

A mutant with mesh, a plasma pistol, and some virus grenades.

Eight humans with flak jackets, lasguns, and stub guns.

We should also look into mobility upgrades for the mutant and other squad options in general. Let's put an upper limit of about 500 or 600--we have 397 left, unless I messed up the subtraction at some point or forgot to account for one item, but I'm willing to drop half a dozen of the goons or some of the better gear if something good comes up.

My count is total 2144 so you'd have 395 left.
You do have both a Heavy machine-gun and a  plasma pistol to start with, you reckon that 500C will buy a rhino.
 
(useing rouge trader points a land raider is 217.5!
even a basic bike is 68 points before i add a zero to get rid of the half points.)
i will roll up some new vehicles late for the next up date.

Then we use the free plasma pistol ourself and give the HMG to the squat instead of the lascannon. 505 saved. Buy a Rhino, and we have an even 400 points left.

I see GWG is arming us to terrorise a sector of some sort.. don't see how this can go wrong.

Although if we're going with those rules I'd suggest going light on the plasma weaponry - when they fail critically, they fail spectacularly as well iirc.
