The skill points can't be distributed well with only 80 of them. They need to be raised or the amount of skills lowered.

hmm, higher skill base amount...


actually, why not? I'll maybe re-balance magic a bit, as the stat will likely become larger on average, but this is actually not a bad idea at least to test out. This, and lowering health a bit.


I think I'll go for 3 points of health per per point, and a 100 based, making things in total more distinct

obviously, summoning does not quite work yet. someone who actually uses summoning please try and make rules for that
If we use GURPS as an inspiration for the powers, we'll be able to make some rules fairly easily by tweaking the Ally rules. I've got a fair idea of how we would do so, if you're interested.

The one thing that seems like a problem is the number of turns, I think we might need cut the health down a bit.
Eight turns for two roughly-equally-matched combatants...assuming that it's going to be a bit longer for a bunch of people against the boss, and that there's one turn per day...aye, problematic.

I feel my opinion wouldn't even be considered.

Enemies would still have higher stat totals and better equipment since they'll have to deal with a clusterfuck of people. This system just prevents them from becoming more overpowered than they should be.

E) Different weapons running off different skills to deal damage is too minmaxy. Someone who uses guns would not need and strength at all, but only skill, thus being able hit more often *and* deal more damage, all with the same stat. Similar things happen if damage for weapons would run of dex etc etc. So no, Strength stays the stat for physical damage, regardless of your weapon.
So what does Will's rifle use for it's possession roll? It's a piece of equipment that uses magic to stab people (rather ineffectually due to the tiny wounds produced) with intent on possession that causes organ failure.

if it's magic, it uses mag, and does magical damage. It's more or less a gun-shaped catalyst for a spell, that can be used even if Wills main ability is not causing organ failure

So I presume that Ashley's embargo katana and @Private_Nomad's enemy character with the other embargo blade also use magic to determine their attacks with those since they replace the actual physical effects of their respective blades?

Also, for each of them, are they enchanted weapons? Or innately magical weapons generated out of embargo?

anyway, once Projeck is done reading up on the system, he may decide himself what's up with the fatigue katana. It doesn't need much GM heavy handedness, as it is simply a sword that deals non-lethal damage, instead of that overpowered rifle that I kinda hope GWG will never use. It definetly falls in the category of OP nonsense that we want to distance ourselves from, like the philosphers stone

I don't know, the only plot I actually plan on running is Alucard's plot and maybe another after Akroma's plot. You said that the Grim Reaper can enchant items when provided with the funds, such as the associative magic circle being drawn under a treasury, and given the appropriate sacrifice.
I don't suppose Wall Street entities care whether they use said enchantment for evil purposes?
Negating fundamental forces? So he could enchant a sword to completely negate the weak force on whatever it cuts, therefor slicing through something without resistance?

Embargo is something associated with Wall Street, basically, it prevents a transaction. In @Projeck's case, the transaction of energy through the body, with each hit, less energy is allowed to be "traded" throughout the victim's body until they can no longer move. It doesn't so much drain energy so much as it seals it. In @Private_Nomad's case, the trade of W and Z bosons, the gauge bosons for weak force. Which means that electrons and nuclei are no longer held together. The end result is a "blade" that can pretty much cut through virtually all matter.
