So it looks like a bit like River City Ransom, with zombies. And dogs driving cars.

The gist is you're a guy trying to go from Florida to Canada and not die. You can assemble a party of up to 5 people, each with randomized appearances, names and traits. They don't even have to be human, either!

Each city is randomly generated, there's permadeath, and the game is chalk full of random events delivered in the CYOA style. They can have far-reaching consequences...like teaching a dog in your party to drive a car, so if all your humans end up dying, your dog can carry on the struggle, drive on and even recruit other dogs to their party.

Perhaps best of all is: Toady One is in the KS video! I don't know if "Doesn't play by the rules" is a ringing endorsement or not, but for the guy who literally will not put his name to anything other than DF....it must say something he was willing to put his mug in the video.

$10 gets you a digital release copy of the game. Cutesy in-game rewards start at $50. Schwag starts at $100, contributing content starts around $150+.

Their estimated delivery dates imply the game will ship this year, sometime in Q4.

Its kinda silly to complain that a friendly NPC isn't a well designed boss fight.

This is exactly what I love to see in an initial Kickstarter. These guys have a great concept, a well done video, Tarn, appropriate rewards and goals and most of all, an experienced and proven team. I don't think they can finish in the timeline they have listed but I won't hold that against them. I expect that they will find at least $40k for this and I hope more. I gave them enough money so that I can leave a message for you guys in the game.

BTW- The Dev intentionally misquoted me as saying "The only game to be PERSONALLY spit on by Tarn Adams."
I LOVE this guy!

The game and the kickstarter its self all seem to be hitting the right spots for me. :D

I'd love to contribute within the 28 days left but I lack access to a debit or a credit card. Will you have any other funding options open?
