Spoiler: Voted designs (click to show/hide)

Our top engineers spend their time perfecting the Raven Class fighter Biplane. The Raven is a formidable fighting aircraft. It's powerful engine gives it a significant speed, despite it's significant weight. The Two 15mm machine guns firing using through the propeller provide the fighter with ample firepower. It's design is quick and fairly easy to build.

Spoiler: Pick 3 (click to show/hide)

The Shark class patrol boat is rather unique. It's very fast, mounts a single 40 mm cannon, and has 2 torpedo tubes. In order to increase the things speed, the engineers added 6 of our most powerful engines. This does sometimes cause minor complications, and reduces the boats operational range, but it still performs admirably. It is intended to operate closely to the coast, as it doesn't have the durability of structural strength to survive on the open sea. Another technical problem is that the engines sometimes appear to suffer from the salt sea water.

You order your engineers to design a better aircraft engine. Unfortunately, the design the task appears to be a bit to big for now, and they don't quite manage to finish it. It's also clear that the engine has several flaws, even this early in it's design phase.

Work on the torpedo progresses better however. It's a long range wet heater torpedo, carrying a significant explosive charge, and using a gyroscopic system for guidance.

The artillery factory is partly rededicated to the production of 40 mm and 80 mm guns. At the same time, our facilities are prepared to produce our newest fleet members.

The Long expected attack started yesterday, when Moldovian[I got no Naming suggestions] started naval bombardment of our forces on Crow's Isle. A Glory Class Cruiser and it's Revelotionary escorts which were executing a patrol nearby came to aid, and engaged the enemy forces despite their numerical superiority. The enemy Cruisers opened fire first, but failed to hit our Cruiser. Our Return Salvo's hit true however, and combined with fire support from the island we managed to damage and even sink a few destroyers.

Our forces were not as lucky during the Second Salvo however. The Glory class Cruiser was hit several times, and finally sunk when a lucky shot ignited it's ammunition magazine. Revolutionary Destroyers launched several torpedo's before retreating, inflicting significant damage to the enemy fleet.

Similar reports come from our islands groups in the Northern Archipelago. All report being under attack, and cut off from any supplies. No landing parties have been detected yet. Enemy fighters have been spotted performing air superiority operations.

The government has responded to this state of War by increasing Industrial production, and assigning us another design team.

Proposal 1: Sub-machine gun (Small). Develop a cheap, reliable and easy to use SMG utilizing the the same 9x25mm round in the pistols.

Proposal 1.1 (small).Develop a varient of our pistol with a folding stock and automatic capabilities. Also a longer mag for it.
Proposal 2 (Large).Same as the sub from the last round. Uses the new torps.

Production proposal A.Produce 50 Ravens at the undefined factory. Train pilots for them, along with ground crew.
Production proposal B.Produce ALL THE TORPEDO BOATS

Beta.Work on a new wharf for us.
Delta. Work on rocket propulsion systems, useing LOX and alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide and a fatalist.

Production C: Mass-production of warships. The enemy fleet Outnumbers us to an alarming degree. Order construction of 3 Glory cruisers and 5 Protector light cruisers.

Doing the rest later, but:
Production Proposal A.1: Retool the new factory to Raven Biplanes
As far as I understand it, we can only order factories to change their production - for smaller batches, our own factory ("A small factory  [Up to 400 Production Points]") is used. Therefore, switch it over completely, producing said 50 planes per year.

Whatever else, I vote for aerodynamic. Lets us use non-airports to start, and be so slow the enemy has to pass by when shooting us.

For the torp, lets go with the extra detonator.

So...
Torpedo choice. Extra detonator.

C.1 Expand both docks. Mass produce Protectors and Sharks

D. Retool truck factory to produce details for Shark patrol boats (they use engines from those after all) increasing production of them at the docks

Alpha. Demand government to procure any combat worthy vessels. Preferably large ones.   Sell crow recon biplane blueprints, we'll not build them, ever and not worry if anyone will build them

Gamma Offer all  trucks we have for sale, they are almost useless in that kind of war. If we can trade ships for them that will benefit us

 Choices:
Raven: Fuel efficient, Resilent, Aerodynamic
We can use them anywhere, more will return home, they'll be in the air longer, effectively increasing our numbers

Torpedo :Variable Speed system

Vote A.1, C.1, D, Alpha, Gamma

Vote for Resilient. Maneuverable and Easy to pilot.

4 : Assign Delta to begin work on a Monowing plane built for speed and maneuverability, give it light armor and  2 x 15 mm guns per wing. Aim for superior ceiling to our current designs.

E : Request multiple factories devoted specifically to Raven Production be built off site.

Hotel : Send Epsilon for training in Aeroengineering

2 ton, just like the previous one. (Which was a steam based design, btw)

5. Develop short range torpedo, lighter, offering smaller punch and range,  being much lighter than the current one and designed to survive being dropped from the aircraft

6. Develop better electric batteries

7 Develop midget submarine Piranha
Armed with only one torpedo tube and two torpedoes (preferably from project 5), having electric engine designed to be recharged at port only, range only twenty nautical miles (40 if one way, surface and weight for friendly ships to tow back) . Coast defense submarine able to go in very shallow waters ( Later I want to do a carrier for that midgets to bring them to enemy bases, rivers... Or just have them attached to a carrier ship and release them when enemy is in range)

8 : Take the 15MM MG then look for a way to increase it's power and bullet penetration, attempt to tighten it's cone of fire and increase it's rate of fire as well. (( Something a bit more powerful for our first mono wing plane. Ideally we need to make everything on it superior to the raven so a more powerful and accurate gun is essential.  ))

9 : Design a radio system small enough and light enough to fit to a plane without it weighing it down. Aim for an effective range of no less then 10 miles, the higher the better and aim for closed circuit to prevent anybody from catching the signal who's not meant to.
