Welcome to a world of wizards and monsters!
Where, based off the popular Gemcraft flash series by Game In a Bottle, a number of wizards work together as part of the powerful Wizards Council to organize and direct... well, you.

While the games focus on powerful masters of gemcrafting magic, who battle with the Forgotten, this game is about some other wizards who are not concerned with the Forgotten, but just her shadows, as it is revealed near the end of GCL, where it says there are other wizards chasing down her minions.

You will progress by beating the monsters in a field.
There is a number of sections in a field. Enemies will move from one section to the next each round, in order to get to your orb. You may spend mana in order to create buildings and gems in each sector to stop them; there are other spells, too, but you are pretty focused on learning gemcrafting spells. Gems automatically eliminate enemies from the closest section to your orb that they can reach.
Each field is composed of a different number of sections. When you beat all the monsters in a field, you move your orb to the next field, and monsters in the previous field won't chase you.

I will be taking 4 applicants. This is not on a first come first served basis, I will roll dice to pick the players who can join in. I will be adding everyone's gems to the list of gems seen so far, picked or not. Applicants who's gems include an "Eternity" gem will automatically be rejected, though. Sorry.
The fields are composed of approximately 12 to 25 sections, and 3 to 6 waves, for now.

Well, there's no rule that says he can't have more - than +.  :P

I'll take the first one. Focus: Affects your d6 rolls. Rolls of natural 1 are actually natural 2, and rolls of natural 6 are actually natural 5.

Well, there's no rule that says he can't have more - than +.  :P

Oh, he had 6 + and one -.

Yeah, that's not allowed, but I'm just saying, if anyone wants to make a character with 6 +s and 12 -s, that's perfectly allowed.  ;) Or 18 -s.  :P
Actually, rereading the rules I posted, that's not OK. But I'm going to retcon that and say having more - than + is OK if you want.

But yeah, his current character is fine.

Just want to say, so far we've got 11 different gem types, 3 players (out of 4 minimum to play, I want around 7 before I roll for starting players (though not necessary to have that many)), all my waves charted out on my generator, and two fields ready for play.

Since fields are so quick to make (so far), and there will be time during each field to design more, I should be fairly OK.
Now to start on the NPCs, special events, and shamelessly advertising the game in places other than my sig :P.

And I think I can make the signups deadline next Sunday.

Uh... noticing the game has almost fallen off the first page, with no fourth player in 5 or 6 days.
I have a dummy character ready in case no one else joins, but which would you guys rather:
I start the game on Sunday as promised, with my NPC fourth player, or extend signups for 3-7 days?

Also, due to the magics of color codes, all the gems in the gem list are actually colored their colors now. As well as there are more gems in the list, too. A couple of them are ones from the dummy character, a few are from enemy NPCs, and of course new players are free to use gems that are or aren't in the list already, whether other players have those ones or not.

All your gemtypes are already in the known gems list, so I don't have to add any; As for your bio, that makes the 2nd amnesiac and the fourth with little to no knowledge of the wizards' council.  :P This is going to be interesting  ;).
