Can anybody recommend me some RTS game similar to Wargame : Red Dragon aside from RUSE?

I really like these hardcore strategy games

I can't think of any close in both gameplay and setting; Zero-K has a similar 'feeling' to play, but isn't that similar in actual mechanics or setting; a lot of Wargame players also play Men of War and the games following it, which are also military RTS but are basically reskinned Dawn of War.

Close combat - just about any game from the series.
Firefight - A clone of close combat.
Combat Mission - Altho less of a grand strategy it does however employ pretty damn realistic damage models on tanks and the like. It's also a hybrid of turn and RT strategy as you give simultaneously give orders to units and then get to watch them follow your plan for the next minute or so.

Regarding Close Combat series, I haven't played the first two too much, but the third was far too tank focused to my tastes (makes sense, given the eastern front setting). I personally prefer CC5, it hits the sweet spot of "few tanks, mostly infantry" that I like. There's also an eastern front mod for it if you don't prefer the vanilla western front setting.

Looking for a very player-driven MMO, with player-run towns and limited grind, if any. Preferably free.

good luck.

I'm looking for a singleplayer game which would satisfy a gun nut like me. Lots of different kinds of guns, customizations, etc.

It doesn't matter if it's in first or third person. Preferably for PC, but other things are good.

Sounds like you're looking for a shooter, but I'll offer a few turn based squad tactics games instead. Chances are you may have heard of them.
Jagged Alliance 2 - Even the vanilla game has a bunch of guns, 1.13 mod adds tons more. Tired of only having half a dozen AK clones in your games? This is the mod to fix that. Includes some weapon customization options.
Silent Storm - A wide selection of WWII weaponry. No weapon customization that I remember.

On the shooter front there's Rainbow Six games. Tom Clancy gun porn with the best of them. At least Raven Shield allows some weapon customization with extended clips, various sight options etc..

Can't remember other titles for now.

what is that newish thing... came out first for tablet and is now available for PC on Steam.  not 'Door Kickers' but something similar.

turn based tactical game, where you can customize your weapons with different accessories and sights and grips and barrels and stocks and triggers and everything.  Same for armor and whatnot.  each one makes minute changes to your reaction speed, accuracy, stealth, etc.

Breach and Clear, I think it is called.

Borderlands 2? You didn't specify realistic guns, so....

S.T.A.L.K.E.R with all da mods has plenty of guns and gun tweaking.

I second both JA2 and STALKER, and I would add ARMA and Hitman Blood Money as well.

Sounds like Receiver would be right up your alley.
It's the only game I know that makes you handle guns like they're complex machinery. There's no "R to reload", you have to eject the magazine, holster the gun, insert bullets into the magazine, unholster the gun, insert the magazine and chamber a round, and each command is a button press. And there's no HUD, if you want to know how many bullets you have left, you've got to eject the magazine and see how full it is.
There aren't many different guns, but there's a lot of attention to detail. Just playing around with the moving parts is really satisfying.

Have you tried Last Stand: Deadzone? Its a pretty decent MMO. Top down, squad based zombie killing/Looting. Its Base building, if you can call it that, is some what decent. The game is very much a sort of p2w(especially with the car rides back that take 50+ mins), but you can still achieve a lot without paying.

Runescape has changed such a ridiculous amount since I last played that I can only tell you it exists and is a browser-based MMO.
