Mountain doom? Merchant madness?
« on: February 06, 2014, 05:38:27 pm »

Two questions;

1.

Why are these few merchants not leaving? They have been there for a long time.

2.

Will this mountain collapse on my legendary miners if i dig straight through it? Or if i dig below/above where i currently dug, to retrieve
 those gems?

After they state they are leaving, merchants begin packing anything they brought with them and what you sold them. If there are several items, they will take some time.

Cave-ins only happen when any upper tile is unsupported either in all four sides and up and down. This being said, only if you mine the whole level and leave the upper one "hanging" it's when it will collapse. The best and simplest way to avoid any possible cave in is to make sure a pillar of any given material, natural or not (or support)(or stairs) is directly below the mass you want hanging.

Tiles aren't supported diagonally, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

I have to write something... well here goes:
"A dwarf isn't a dwarf unless he dies the most !!FUN!! of ways", Quote unknown, possibly Armok.

Doktoro Reichard is quite pleased with making a Great Carbonite Trap

Why shouldn't you write with a broken pencil? Because it's pointless!

Awesome, thank you Doktoro.

You are totally right, they JUST left, a second ago, swear they picked up crap for months though.

Great! I love that, i will be making a nice pillar in the middle of it then, thank you. Time to get some more gems, i traded all them to those bastard traders.
