Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I just realize something the Elf Zombie is still alive.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

elf zombie take vengeance against those who harm the tree, don't believe their excuses if they were true elves they would have gotten a better shot anyway and left the small cheesemaker to die.
thus for failing to live up to their elven code their punishment is DEATH! Their bones be used for bricks and organs fertilizer for the local fauna

While the Elf Zombie is brutally Murdering is own race everyone walk along hoping it doesn't notice you also yoink their Leader Sr. Donk alot.
The orc zombie should still be alive alsos.

>Zombies: Murder The Elves.

>Dwarves: Tactical Retreat.

>Elves: Die Horribly.

Nope, that's a mistake on my part.  Elf Zombie (his name is Seabrook, btw) was supposed to be dead-dead.  I just never grayed-out his eyes.

Edit: the appropriate edits have been made to reflect that.  Sorry for the mistake, guys. :(

Edit II: since someone asked, these were the zombies names.

Whatever we do, avoid offending the elves. Take whatever weapons we can, but don't push it: as we are, the elves could easily slaughter the migrant party.

Ask about cheese if the opportunity arises.

This is me just guessing here but why have names if we are never going to talk to them? So does this mean we will be seeing these zombie's again sometime in the future.

i was wondering the creation story the nun told explained the creation of almost everything but it skipped over the forgotten beasts (unless what i thought was the clowns was actually forgotten beasts)

They're zombies.  If we're still operating under pre 2014 rules, the necromancer can just bring them back later.  And if not, the zombies are probably still squirming around.  It was just a puncture wound after all.

Fuck.

FUCK.

FUCK.

Okay, yeah, so I totally had an explanation for the forgotten beasts, god fucking dammit.  Looking back now I see that it got lost in my notes while I was plotting out that little panel.  I'm gonna have to go back and fix that.  As a matter of fact, looking back I see a ton of little mistakes littering the story.  I think I'm gonna bump the next update so I can do a general clean-up first.

Does anyone else have any inconsistencies they wanna point out while I'm fixing stuff? :(

While you're fixing stuff if you could make a collection of all the story post hyperlinks it would be helpful. 95 pages is a lot to flip through.

Relax. They are called Forgotten Beasts for a reason.  8)

This story is operating in some unspecified version of Masterwork (probably 5.x).  So the undead have hit points, don't need pulping, etc.

Masterwork also has reduced ranged weapon deadliness, compared to the vanilla 0.34.11 it's based on.  That's probably why the tree is still relatively OK. ;)

I can't remember whether Masterwork changed the frequency of milking animals.  I think it might have.  That's something Misty will care about.

While the story is set in the MW universe, please remember that the story isn't about the MW Mod and exploring every detail about it. It's about Misty and her dream of becoming the greatest cheesemaker who ever lived.
