At the Inn

Despite Joe's well founded concerns about the surprises that lay in a cave, compared to the relative ease of perception at sea, the group voted overwhelmingly to take on the cave contract. After all, they had the rare opportunity to complete two lucrative contracts simultaneously. So the team set off, following the large man to a wagon that took them promptly off towards the mountain.

The Entrance to a Cave

The Greenskin Mountains were beautiful, for all their dangers. Craggy peaks contained sections of exposed rock, otherwise the mountains lay under a thick blanket of snow. If it hadn't been for the guide from the Allosmiths Guild the caves would have been impossible to find. And without the wagon its dubious the mercenaries would have survived the trip. That snow hid rocks that could tear feet open, and pitfalls that could swallow a man. It was a wonder that people thought they could cross the mountains if the goblins were removed. But they did arrive. One moment they were riding along in a world of white and then suddenly they turned a corner to find that under an outcropping of rock was a passage down into the earth.

"This is where we leave you. This guide fellow, he'll be camped out under this outcropping. When you have a substantial area secured, you send him back. We'll send the troops to hold the caves, and you'll get you're reward."

Drifting around Altera

The dreaming soul found a man too distracted by being mauled by a bear to care that magical energies were being taken from him.

A Cave in the Greenskin Mountains

Kyle and Rachel took the first steps into the cave, tentatively walking deeper into the darkness. Just when it seemed they would have to find some way to generate light Rachel noticed the cave was lighter up ahead. She motioned for silence from Kyle and they crept forward. Now the light was more obvious, a blue green hue that seemed more stable than any light source they were familiar with. Coming to a corner Kyle and Rachel got low to the ground and inched forward. They found themselves on a ledge overlooking a fair sized cavern. In the middle of this hollow were two goblins wrestling. They were spindly looking humanoids. They had less muscle that a human, but watching them wrestle it was clear that they could move quickly. Nearby lay a pile of bone weaponry, next to a third goblin that appeared to be watching the fight.

Kyle and Rachel quietly relayed this information to the others, who had followed them into the cave. George tried casting out webs to search for crystals, but the technique was touchy and he was anxious about the goblins nearby, making it difficult for him to concentrate fully. He wasn’t cut out for combat…

An Alteran Forest

The dreaming soul noticed the peril of the man he found and decided to use his newly acquired energy to help him. He began throwing images at the bear related to sleeping, and tried to force a feeling of calm onto the beast. The bear responded, leaving off its assault on the man and looking for a place to nap. The man was still injured however, and it looked dubious he would be able to walk back to his village without assistance.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.
