I think that the save might be bugged. I'm being spammed by "Urist McUrist cancels Place Item in Tomb: Item Inaccessable" and miners stop mining designations out at seemingly random points. Does anyone have any ideas?

Preferably someone who will stay far away from battle.
Make me a mason, since you need one now. Or a carpenter. Or a metalsmith. Or a craftsman. Give me a backbone job that isn't farming. And name him FallenAngel II and explain that I'm a bodysurfer cursed by a deity greater than the ones people worship.

Now, see? This is why I'm a miner. I'm legendary in a weapon skill, so I can parry with the best. On top of that, I'm usually in the bowels of the fort, where there isn't any danger. Now while you guys die I'm going to hide behind the traps and live.

I was a miner as well, but Rendell decided to put me in the army.
If I read things right, the goblins got him, too. Serves him right for putting a miner in the army.
I won't hold it against him and will resurrect him by sacrificing an animal to the elder ones to grant him body surfing.

3rd of Malachite
Ah! Today is a day for mourning great heroes. Today a day for remembering the great deeds the did. Today the militia captain FallenAngel died. He died in combat, in defence of the fort and he shall be remembered.

17th of Malachite
Finally the siege has broken though at a great cost to us. Many imps died in this siege and they shall be remembered.

5th of Galena
I decide that one of the reasons the goblins defeated us so was the lack of training so I start to set up a barracks for them to train in in the hopes of avoiding events like this again.

11th of Galena
Ah. Today a human caravan arrived unlike the hated elves they accept trade of all sorts and we traded many crafts with them for food. Delicious food of all sorts: cheeses, wine, beer, fish and meat.

End of Summer Report

2nd of Limestone
Curses! An ambush of Grey Parrot Men have come. The attack caused 5 causalities.

8th of Limestone
Today “Flame” the original leader of the fort and expedition leader started a fight I cannot say I blame him it has been a hard year.

17th of Limestone
It seems I follow in “Flames” footsteps. But the pressure... I had to have some way to let it out!

4th of Sandstone
Finally all the Parrots are dead.

24th of Sandstone
I realise that the barracks are missing a vital component Archery Targets!

7th of Timber
Finally one of my projects is completed we now have trained war singe deers. These deers will be assigned to vital members of the fort for protection.

18th of Timber
The Liaison meets with “Flame” he didn’t tell me much but I do know that instruments are highly valued at the Mountain Homes at the moment.

22nd of Opal
I realise that we are sorely defended with there being no traps in the hallway so I order the mechanics to build many mechanisms so that it can be fully trapped.

8th of Obsidian
I must admit I have never been very good with liquids... Unfortunately I managed to flood a portion of the fortress.


11th of Obsidian
I feel as though there is something... Something in my mind... Something that must be created!

14th of Obsidian
I am walking as if through a haze but I do manage to order a portion of the flooded area walled off. And as I do so I realise that my time as Overseer has reached an end.

Protip: Make the floodgates BEFORE you pierce the water source.
Link them beforehand as well.
