[Tawa]

You are Meiyo Senshi. You are a rōnin--a samurai without a master--come from the lands of Okatan, far to the northwest. You have come to the land of Clauterra to pursue your arch-nemesis, a man named Jakuna who wields sorcerous powers, seeking vengeance for your old master, Waizu Orudo, who was killed by Jakuna.

You have reason to believe that a local crime syndicate holds information as to the whereabouts of Jakuna. Hence, you have come here, a sword at your hip and a stern look on your face.

This is an image suggestion game.

One of the main features of the game is that it has a feature called "Episodes". An Episode is effectively a quest; however, it has little or no connection to the rest of the story. There are no transitions between episodes; the game is intended to provide non-stop entertainment and leave out the boring parts.

The game centers around you, Meiyo Senshi, a wandering swordmaster from an Oriental-style setting, tracking down and exacting revenge upon the wizard Jakuna.

Stat Explanation

HP: Taking injury leads to Hit Point (HP) loss. Hit Points are regained and increased in between Episodes.
KP and Maneuvers: Using a Maneuver prompts a special sword technique. Using this technique allows you to damage things more than you would otherwise and potentially pull off superhuman feats of agility and strength. Each Maneuver costs a specific amount of Katana Points (KP) to use. Katana Points are regained and increased in between Episodes.
⚔ Coins: Money. Kinda obvious.

A wandering former samurai from Okatan. Wielder of the blessed blade Randolph. Seems to act on impulses, often provided by a several-way conscience primarily occupied by a gun-toting animé girl, a violently moving husky, a cat, a golden-armored, moustached man, a man who is perpetually chewing on a pen, and a sunglasses-wearing fellow standing in front of a perpetual explosion.

The most likely to act on an impulse.

Age: 22
Gender: ♂
A former mountain guide from the base of Mount M'ntan. Speaks entirely in the ancient language of Engrish. Meiyo's best friend and rather handy with a bow. Owner of the Tome of Stuff.

The one with the bluest hair.

Lykos Dogebrode

Retired: Castle Xinon

Xinon, Son of Robin

Age: 20
Gender: ♂
A hot-headed man with bluish-grey hair. After being driven to the dark side by the death of his father, Xinon used his blade Randolph for evil. Twice defeated by Meiyo and twice in Meiyo's coma-dreams, Xinon seeks revenge and to get his sword back.

The one with the most obviously expied hairstyle.

Jakuna al'Evyl

Age: ??
Gender: ??
An evil sorcerer who once wronged Meiyo's master, Waizu, with death. Capable of using the Spark brush in GIMP for ominous magical effects, Jakuna seeks to do various evil things.

The most enigmatic.

This exists, so.

You quickly remember to holster your sword and subsequently covertly follow the bucket guy. He walks into a shady-looking back-alley building that looks to be a tavern, a place to which you follow him. Inside, you see him speaking to a man in a tall, cylindrical hat, before walking into a back room, fumbling a bit with getting the buckets through the door. Oddly, there are no patrons in the tavern, which is lit with a single candle.

Incidentally, the wind blew your hair up all funny while you were walking here. Looks nice. (It's easier to draw, too!)
