Meanwhile, in the Martial Arts room:
"Right, how's this going down?"

She chuckles herself.

"We have one last matter to discuss.

Who is our president and vice president?"
Madoka is humming to herself while she sets up the room. She hasn't noticed David yet.
Yuri, the captain and recruiter of the club, looks over her group.
"Your opponent will be me today. I will grade you on your ability already, and the top three may enter the club."

David picks her up barely, in a hug. It doesn't last long.
"Alright, what are we setting up with?"
Hmm... I believe Akemi-chan would be the best fit for President. She has a lot of energy and drive. I don't know who for vice president, however...

David picks her up barely, in a hug. It doesn't last long.
"Alright, what are we setting up with?"
Hmm... I believe Akemi-chan would be the best fit for President. She has a lot of energy and drive. I don't know who for vice president, however...

Madoka giggles, before pointing at the stuff.
"Just some banners and stuff to get people to join our club!"
"Perhaps you should be, Akiyama-san."

Tod....hot damn. He nearly knocks her out, which causes her to give him a glare as she quickly counters the punch and lowers his hand forcibly.

Despite that, however, Tod gets the impression she's impressed, judging by the fact her glare lessens as she rings the bell to signal the fight stopping.
"We're done here. Next!"

Kyle steps up to the ring. He shakes himself out real quick before taking off his eyepatch and setting it on one of the poles. His eye today is slitted like a cat or a reptile and colored red. His tactic is keeping out of the way of punches until he can strike an opening.

Her tactic, unfortunately, is to take advantage of that. She weaves around him and uses feints.

Luckily for Kyle, she doesn't seem to be able to land anything that isn't a glancing blow, but they still sting.

However, she seems to leave one opening every so often, in her right jab, leaving her exposed for a punch.

"Alrighty, sounds like no problem!"
David begins hanging stuff up. Speaking of David, he has already turned in his Light Music papers, for Guitar and Cello (occasionally vocals?) for his instruments.
Yui smiles and shakes her head.
Oh, no, I could do that.

[Powder Miner]

"Rrright."
When her fight begins, Yu tenses up her body, waiting until she's close enough before exploding forth in a single release of all that tension, with a shoulder strike, Yu hoping to be close enough to cause Yur difficulty in striking.

David begins hanging stuff up. Speaking of David, he has already turned in his Light Music papers, for Guitar and Cello (occasionally vocals?) for his instruments.
Yui smiles and shakes her head.
Oh, no, I could do that.

Madoka continues humming her marching song.
"So, how was student council?"
"You are her friend, and it would be useful to have someone to temper her energy and drive."
Yuri DOES have difficulty striking due to how close they both are.

She goes for armlocks and grappling instead. Yuri locks Yu's elbow and twists it before she can strike.

I believe Bradley-san might prove better in that regard.
"Short and sweet. I'm treasurer!"
((It is now I realized that I put David up for 3 clubs... Eh, but they all are big things to him...))

Anita does her best in Swim Club try-outs, working her hardest though she didn't often work as much as she was now. Definitely not the fastest of those trying out, not even likely to be third, but definitely above the average of the group. She was quite pleased with herself once things were finished, standing out of the pool with a slight smile of satisfaction plain on her face as she stared towards the water, listening to the gentle waves of it as she relaxed after the try and waited for results.
