I ran the numbers recently, and my pack is responsible for around two thirds of DFFD's total traffic by volume.  It might make sense to just host that on a separate (cheaper) server, and redirect the download link only.

Why not just upload the starter pack to Mediafire or Mega and link to that?

I doubt they provide the required bandwidth without paying a lot

EDIT: We're talking about 2 terabytes of bandwidth per month needed here.
Mega's €9.99/month package is still only 1TB of monthly bandwidth.
I can't find any information on mediafire's limits.
