In other news, I got banned from /r/the_donald for saying it's become forwards from grandma.  I'm not upset because, you know, it has.

I'm not sure whether you're joking or not. Which I feel it should be obvious, so not knowing is a bit scary.

People need guns because the police take upwards of 30 minutes to respond to situations where your life and the lives of your family are at stake. If you wait for the police to protect you from a home invasion, the damage will tend to already be done. Having and knowing how to use/store etc. a gun lets you prevent said damage in a timely manner. Or murder your own family by accident if you don't know. Education's important kiddies.
