I had an idea of making a cat-and-mouse game where one character is hunting the other, while another is hunting him.

There will be four characters in this game. 3 Hunted and 1 Monster

You are the Hunted. The game is normal, and you steer clear of the Monsters, while hunting your target.Your color represents your Personality Concept, how your character's personality is. The rules will be modified to match your personality, and this will be one of the major clues for the ones hunting you. The Hunted have 4 cards they must use before getting a new set, and every time they use 4 cards, a beacon is let out, letting the nearest monster know of your general location. A Random number generator will assign your target, and you must learn who your target is while exploring a hostile environment, while also watching out for the other hunters and Monsters.

You are the Monsters, inhuman creatures that hunt the Hunted. You create a monster based on a Monster Concept, what your monster is closest to. It will act like a Personality Concept, but more extreme. The Monster has 9 cards they must use before getting a new set, and every time they use 9 cards, a beacon is let out, letting the Hunted know of your general location. Your goal is simple, kill all the Hunted, and there will be a competitive aspect, with the monster with the most kills getting a bragging rights item for future rounds, and the losers getting an advantage, 2nd place a minor advantage, and 3rd place a major advantage. Ties will result in duels to learn who the winner is.

Uno Deck.

1-10: Similar to die rolls. Use for major events or conflict.
Reverse: If you goof up, you can rewind back a turn.
Skip: You can cause something to have to skip a turn, giving you two turns to act instead of one.
Draw 2: Draw two cards. Free card.
Wild Card: Can act as any card type or color.
Wild Card Draw 4: Same as Wild Card, plus Draw 4 Cards.

May spend card for color instead of type.

Hunted:
Green: Healing or support
Red: Offensive item
Yellow: Hide spot or escape tool
Blue: Lore and clue.

Monster:
Green: Minions
Red: Offensive item
Yellow: Trap and décor
Blue: Puzzle

You may stack up to 5 of a same color at once, allowing for a more powerful version of the color. You can only play the stacked color, not the unstacked color, while you are stacking, but you can still play the type, and you can only stack one card a turn, barring character exceptions. While you are stacking, you receive three cards when you plat your remaining three cards. Once you play the stack, for (N-1) turns, cards of that color are discarded. You may only have one stack of cards stacking.

Well that's what I mean; if it were an RPG would it be in spoilers, and other players aren't s'posed to look at them, or through PMs?

I've never played RTDs, but I imagine that would work for a game like this.

For hunting, at the start of the game, you wake up in some unknown area, and have no idea what's happening, other than you feel like you're being hunted, and you feel like you need to look for something. You then begin looking for clues, which gradually fill in what you should be doing, or who you should be hunting. The monster's situation is similar, but they have the extra objective of hunting and killing the human survivor's, as well. The Master's goal is to make discovering the clues as difficult as possible, without making it impossible, and I plan to have his power scale throughout the game, have him start off small, and get bigger toys as the game goes on. As for turn systems, I'd like to use an uno card set as power-ups and points toward actions.

Would you prefer a PM system, or a spoiler system?

I'd go with a spoiler system; while a PM system would be more secure, it would make it practically impossible for anyone to watch what was going on.

Spoiler system would be easier to read for people not playing, but is prone to cheating. PM system would be a safer bet.

I'm pretty much of the same view, spoilers are easier, but PMs guard against cheating.

Perhaps it shouldn't be public which players are hunting who, but sent through PMs?
