Reynard responds with a kick of his own, preventing her from moving the leg holding down her weapon.

Melodia responds by moving in close, sweeping her foot around his and attempting to trip him.

Reynard jumps back again, releasing Viridian Sonata, while also firing the Sands at her again.

Melodia ducks to grab Viridian Sonata and manages to avoid the shot. She attempts to wildly flick out her flail at his arm this time.

Reynard bats her attack away with the butt of the Sands, then switches it back to sword form and makes an attack of his own.

Melodia counters with another high kick, locking her shinguard against the Sands' blade.

Reynard forces the Sands into her shinguard, attempting to push her off balance.

Melodia presses back, attempting to knock his arm out of the way so she can follow through her attack.

She can't fully do it, and they stay locked where they are.
Suddenly Melodia can see on Reynard's scroll that his Aura is dangerously low.

Similarly, Reynard can see that Melodia's Aura is also quite low.
