| "Were I to hazard a guess, I would say that I would not make a particularly interesting character. Indeed, had I a biography, I would pity all those who dare read it, for it would be as with the words of a politician - a procession of individually meaningful ideas that come together to form their own absence. That is not to say that my existence is unusual, but rather that it is uninteresting; one would not spectate a spectator, and as such is the role I have taken, one would rather not watch me. I admit that perhaps my decision is abnormal, which is to say that it is perfectly normal, for the usual is the unusual, and what transgresses abides by the law. We all revolt in our own ways, and from that order forms, for no one will accept the life handed to them, be it by the slightest, most insignificant of margins, or total ideological divides. We seek power, be it in connections, wealth, or force to alter those circumstances, and through it we become blinded to our original intent. It is this, that I have chosen to rebel against, for I have no desire to change what others are already preparing to topple, nor to exercise power for ultimately transient gains. I watch because it amuses me, and when it amuses me no more, I sleep until it does once more.
The fate of nations is decided as much by incompetence and idiocy as it is by brilliance and daring, a farce sewn together from coincidence, cast solely with alazons and viewed by an uncaring audience. As such, in times of turmoil it is often when I wake, for I am a fan of farces and it just so happens, that one of the greatest of them all is about to commence. Old Panto seems to be on the verge of seceding, be it yet another prank or something more serious, I do not know. Regardless, the others are already seeking a successor, likely someone to be granted no more power than before, throned in name alone and crowned with nothing save for perhaps the blood of the innocent. A regent in name and a puppet in purpose.
They might have just found their candidate, Destruction, currently in the form of teenage girl who presently lacks anything resembling the capacity to even look the part they wish to give her.
