"So that's how they managed to afford so much land then."

He begins pacing, slowly drifting in the general direction of the library.
"Staying as close to the grounds and those paths sounds best. No need to get tired clearing a path or hiking too deep. If any of them follow a river, that'll be real helpful since I don't think they'd bury their dead next to sources of water. Only moved here recently though, so I don't know too much about their culture.

Really don't want to run in a ghost. I might be able to fight one, but going against someone who knows the land and who, for I know, could just sneak around and magically change the route or something doesn't sound too fun. Wait, do you need anything special to even harm them? Like having to rely on magic? Or does a crowbar still work?

For food, soylent or those emergency rations survival shops sell could be a good idea. Since we can keep enough to keep up going for a few days extra easily without raising the weight too much and it won't spoil either. Probably should head to the library to check the maps now then, even if this 'we' is beginning to sound really tenuous."

He pauses again.
"Wait, what about Grayson Wing? The girl that gave the tour, you know, the fox that's 50% angel, 50% demon, and 0% actual fox, mentioned it might have a ghost wandering around. Just a rumor? Or is he actually there and a member of staff that you're not allowed to exorcise?"

"I understand. I was not entirely sure what "perfect" skin was like myself until my father told me."

"And what did your father tell you what perfect skin was like?"

"Eh.  Either way.  Figure now's as good a time as any."[/glow]

"Okay then. What are you looking for? It's my second year here, so maybe I can help. Or not. I don't know what you're looking for exactly."

(Aine attempts to chuck his head over the gate lightly so when it hits the ground it will be fine.)
well time to see if anything can even get over it.

Aine's head bounces off of some invisible barrier above the gate. It looks like that option is closed as well.

Annie proceeds to try to force the gate open, maximum strength!

Not even Annie's maximum strength is enough to force the gates to open. She isn't the first student with prodigious strength who had the idea to escape after all, and so plenty of enchantments have been placed to stop those kinds of attempts. Though even if she did manage to bend the bars, the porters on the other side would stop the group from leaving anyways. They clap politely as Annie tries her best to escape and then wait to see who will be next to try. When your job is to sit and patiently wait for someone to need your services, you would welcome any form of entertainment as well.

"Awwww bummer what now..."

Lidia mutters to herself and puts her palms to her ears, beginning to take her earrings off since it was far too embarrassing to wear them in front of any of the other people who seemed keen on following her.

Ray looks at Lidia, evidently confused by her actions.
"...Huh?"
He then looks at Hana.
