"Why should we be worried? Because it might do something bad?

Might as well be worried about everything then.
"
"Worrying about a creation that can destroy a entire city and all of its population in mere seconds is something worth worrying about."

"Any one of the gods can do this, to a more significant extent than a single creation."

A sickening wrenching in reality appears away from the Mountain. It is followed by a long, ominous shuddering. Sporadically and spontaneously, water turns to foul sludge, crops wither into locusts, swords dissolve into dust, and writing smudges into suspicious symbols. A brief feeling of maniacal bloodlust comes and passes among the gods.

"Good job Praven, you broke reality with that silly cannon of yours. This has officially gone too far"

"Oh calm down, 'tis jus' a Cannon, all I did was add some pointy bits. Besides, if Mani can create an invincible bein' o' pure destruction, why can I nah make a better Cannon?"

Captain Praven has upgraded the Chaos Cannon, renaming it to the Vae Horrendi. (Captain Praven: -113E) The upgrades mostly involve preventing other gods from using it, making it Eldritch, and binding it to the Ebrius Praedonus. Captain Praven has also extensively repaired and upgraded the Ebrius Praedonus and the Pravanese Navy. (Captain Praven: -15E) Four attempts to grab the Ebrius Praedonus, but Praven almost effortly retains control over it. Another shot fires, narrowly missing Four and causing a massive forest fire! A giant tree has arrived and has begun deftly bringing down the Pravanese Navy. The ghosts of the Navy are starting to rapidly fade away after having spent so much time in the material world. Something new seems to have begun attacking Four. Four has picked it up and other ships and tossed it at the Pravanese Navy, taking out many ships along the way! Four has also used some of the ships as shielding. Suddenly, purple streaks weave through the Pravanese Navy! Deflecting attacks from Four and the giant tree, they blur through the Navy, setting most of it on fire! All around the Ebrius Praedonus, the panicked Pirates have routed! The Ebrius Praedonus remains intact, and with it, the VAE HORRENDI.

As the battle rages Captain Praven yells to the Pirates, to himself, and more or less everybody.

"OH, NO YE DON'T! OH NO, YE BE! WHY YE BE VANISHIN'!?! STOP IT, CAPTAIN'S ORDERS! 'TIS A CROCK OF WHALE SNOUT! AARGH! 'N NOW I BE FIGHTIN' ON ALL SIDES! YE CONNIVIN' SNAKES! YE'VE BEAT ME NOW, BUT YE AIN'T SEEN ME LAST!"

Captain Praven, the Ebrius Praedonus, and what's left of the Pravanese Navy flee the Battle, back into Orbit after the odds become stacked against them. Out of spite, Captain Praven fires one last barrage from the Vae Horrendi at Four as they flee.

Captain Praven spends 2 Essence to ensure that the vanishing Pirate Souls are reincarnated into the World as a Race of their choice.

"Aww...Byebye Cap! Thanks for playing! I got lots of useful data for the eventual full version!"

Mani rustles goodbye as the ship sails off into the sunset. Presumably, Four continues shooting the ship until the last volley stops.

Tick 34.0: dorIc serifs

Reality ripples again, an inversion of the previous wrenching disturbance coursing from the guarding sun. At the end of it all, the Bubble feels much stronger and firmer, the whispers of the outside greatly diminished. At the slightest murmur of LYT's TRUTH, vast curtains of glowing light appear above and around the Mountain. The buzzing of the Eldritch seems to fade all around the Mountain. Strangely enough, magic seems strengthened by this turn of events.

Visalash is in a position to claim all 45E of the Creativity Award.

Mumuski has blessed the engineer with creativity, ingenuity, long life, and musical expertise with the airship terminal.

Mani has created the Mark4, a firepower-boosting artifact, and given it to Four.

Gandtrael has helped the monasteries, made booze for the inns and taverns of Cortex, encouraged pillaging and not plundering among Gandtraelite pirates, ordered telekinetic warriors to defend Cortex, created spacianite weaponry for them, founded orders of crisis squads, and sent food to those around the Mountain. Gandtrael has also begun playing the mag-harp again and summoned Hope spirits to help the hopeless. (Gandtrael: -13E)

Visalash responds to prayers:
Omser mage: "But how can simple magic damage such a large universe?"

Visalash tunes out the Omser wanderer's boring contract, ignoring it successfully, and finds to Its dismay that the contract involves raining mystical rain on a village and a basket of assorted berry pies in exchange for some facility with tiny fireballs.

The Omser lawmancer's contract seems to be a very long way of telling visitors that the lawmancer is available on most days from a few hours after sunrise to sunset, providing difficult to find contact information.

The Illuminatus Luna Lepidoptera describes a massive, vaguely skull-like cog being scaled by Dagomoth larvae and crushing those under it. The Lepidoptera also whispers instructions about building a pressure cooker to Katzerie.

Landria has taught Scorim of deep space probes and fuel cells and the rest of dirigibles and vaccinations. (Landria: -2E)

The PRC has also begun using Scorim satellites to complete an elderly Scorim xenoanthropologist's dream of cataloguing the many races and their civilizations. Terminae continue necromancyy practice.

Kriege has built the grand city of Atria, which spans three layers around 18G or so. Kriege has also helped the Mongrels with technological development. Landria has sent Terminae to hijack develop Atria so as to help it function as a hub of trade between peak and base. Landria has given the City and its ruling council crown blessings.

Frami responds to prayers:
Nautil commander: "But there are too many of them! And they're menacing!"
Hyrran miner: "I'll go try that, I guess."

Zenrach has created more Chaos Slaughterers and turistians. (Zenrach: -34E) Many turistians have died trying to survive the depths.

The Ebrius Praedonus withdraws and starts shaking uncontrollably! Four continues grappling the Ebrius Praedonus, and after a distracting miss, it manages to connect with Four, vaporizing it! The Ebrius Praedonus slams down into the earth, disappearing. It must have become a pancake in Four's final attack. The Pravanese Navy returns to its place beyond the material realm.

Captain Praven has sent off the vanishing pirate souls to reincarnate however they prefer.

Gandtrael has expanded upon civil law in Cortex. (Gandtrael: -1E)

Gandtrael has visited the technological prince's castle. The prince does not bow.

Teach Scorim improved armour technology
Use 1E to teach all other races how to make trains and cement structures.

Continue encouraging Terminae ritual and necromancy magic. Magic should work better now maybe!

Spend 2E to create the Star-Moths.
((Animals))

These massive creatures fly at the upper edge of the atmosphere, flying above, through and beneath the aurora. Star-Moths never land, and are infact incapable of moving on the ground.

Bioluminscent, their giant wings are covered in intricate patterns of light. However, their light is too faint to be seen with the naked eye, needing the aid of telescopes to be spotted. They lay their eggs in clouds, with the caterpillars eating the clouds they were lain in and spinning a floating cocoon of extremely high-quality glowing cloud-silk within which they pupate into adult Star-Moths.

Star-Moths are very sensitive to Eldritch, and will explode like very bright fireworks, very visible even to the naked eyes of ground-dwellers, if they encounter more than trace amounts of eldritch. If possible, the explosions destroy at least part of the eldritch

"Un! As Mani thought, the armor in the final version will have to be improved to withstand multiple shots of high-tier weapons. It looks like the repairs should take 1-3 ticks, if everything goes to plan. Attack power seems good enough for currently existing threats. Reinforcements from the other sections will probably increase its fighting power, so it doesn't have to stand alone.

Now here is something for poor, neglected Ichi! Sorry you haven't been able to participate much!"

Mani enchants Ichi's glasses up to an Elite artifact! The powers granted to it include a HUD, an advanced targeting system improving her aim, and the ability to see invisible/hiding objects.

Omser mage: "But how can simple magic damage such a large universe?"
"A little bit at a time, presumably. It interacts with the Void, which did this:"
Give the Omser mage a vision of the eldritch stuff at the start of Tick 32. Then check their mind for any freshly introduced insanity.
Hang a copy of the contact detail contract on myself.
