You respond with expletives and staunch declaration of defiance! Then you order the guards to toss the Damdamians out, but the senator stands up.
"It won't be necessary. We will leave on our own." He then salutes you, but gives you no blessings of his god.
In the late evening you receive a report from Augas.

The re-captured outposts were lost, and few cities surrendered to the Damdamians. The Governor concludes his report with a pledge to not give up the province so easily.
891 AD, Two days later
Scouts report that the Damdamians are on the move! This time, the majority of their army - various estimates putting them between 6 to 7 thousand strong - are marching straight for the capital of Luathbas while three smaller units about thousand each besiege largest walled cities to their flanks. The Damdamians will be in sights of the palace in about five days.
But just as you're about to convene a military council, a guard informs you that an emissary from Dahnia has arrived.
You have him thoroughly checked before he is let in for an audience.
"May the Gods smile upon you, Queen Elana. I come in this dark hours of Luathbas to inform you that King Anktuk sent me to negotiate."
"Negotiate for what?"
"King Anktuk offers a bundle of twenty elven firestones plus the swords and lances of two thousand Dahnian horsemen in exchange for yearly tribtue for next few years plus ceding of the Duchy of Tven to the Dahnia." You shush the courtiers who grumble at the obvious fact that not that long ago the Dahnians relinquished any claims on the Duchy. Then, you decide to ask what the elven firestones exactly are.
"It is what the elves used agianst us. We have captured a certain number of these and twenty is what King Anktuk is willing to part with. It is easily to set them aflame and then you just toss them at your enemies, whereupon the stone bursts into several tongues of green flame, that, as we've found hard way, is difficult to extinguish." You ponder the choices, what to procure and what to pay with for them...
As for the offered 'items'...
A) Accept both the elven firestones and the services of two thousand Dahnian horsemen.
B) Accept the bundle of twenty elven firestones. Hopefully they will be enough to break Damdamian war spirit.
C) Accept the services of the Dahnian horsemen, as numbers are most important.
As for the form of payment...
A) Duchy of Tven will change hands as will the money - we can't be scrooges in those difficult times.
B) You can give away the Duchy but the money needs to stay to cover your other expenses in the coming years.
C) They can have the money, but the Duchy shall remain in your control.
Stand-alone option: D) You refuse to make any deals with the Dahnian and wish him a pleasant journey home.
//Remember, no split options - unless you pick stand-alone option D, of course.
