What would be the worst job in the fortress?
Cause fishing skeletal carp seems really bad.

oh yeah I remember the rabbit with the weird eye, I think I saw like one minute of the film actually..

NOTE: I said I COULD not imagine how that could be scary. PAST TENSE.

Now it's THE FUTURE, and I'm very capable of comprehending a scary rabbit cartoon, so I didn't need to see that...
I watched Watership Down and Animal Farm when I was 4.
I was completely and utterly terrified of the countryside for years.

(Idea was in the 'illustrate your moment' thread. Yup, a Lemur modded-in pet ripped the arm off a goblin during a siege. Go lemurs!)

Now why haven't I done this yet...

almost unrelated, but it's sort of df inspired.  it's supposed to be a sinister forest, like the ones in Threetoe's stories.

You mean just to the left of the centermost pinetree? Yea it looks vaguely humanoid, but shadows can play tricks on your eyes like that.

Only to the left if you use the "ghost's" point of view. He faces the viewer, and you can make out a shoulder, a hand, and barely some legs. If it really wasn't intended, this picture turned out great.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

Maybe it's a little late to say, but Soadreqm's Kobolds really remind me of Jinjos from Banjo kazooie.

Thank you for clearing that up. I knew I saw something like them somewhere.

But we all saw it in the same place (I at least, found it before seeing the red circle one, in that very spot).

I say this is more like the picture on the left.

Straying viciously and unabatedly off topic, it's my theory that finding patterns where there really are none s supported by evolutionary logic- if you hear a wind in the grass and think it's a predator, you're embarrassed. If you hear a predator in the grass and think it's the wind, you're dead.
