Is there a village near our starting village? Have our Cultists accuse that one of raiding our starting village and have them all be deported to the mine.
Yeeeesss... Let's take over another village quietly and deport half of the prisoners to the mine, and the other half as sacrifices!

The point of a small-medium scale conflict is not to have our cultists fight it, but to have the Duke's forces raid and pillage another area.  A few well placed deaths and betrayals thanks to our power and his forces can attack any fortified location, like a provincial capital, suddenly.  The evils of war on both sides will empower us, get captives and loot for the duke, expand his power base, and give massive opportunities to corrupt soldiers.

Then we can raise the dead as an army of skeletons or something.

Why the hell we need duke to fight if we can start a war ourself after some travelling? I think we are way too focused micromanaging our cult\realm instead of being a demon.

Why the hell we need duke to fight if we can start a war ourself after some travelling? I think we are way too focused micromanaging our cult\realm instead of being a demon.

We give the Duke an excuse to attack.  Maybe wipe out a village of his and leave only a few cultists alive to tell the "real story."

Then we have his army at our disposal instead of our small cult for the murdering and war-killing and whatnot.  We can take down a gate through direct violence or mind control, then his forces can burn the city to the ground.  We can kill thousands at once and corrupt his entire army.

Then we have an army of cultists and maybe an undead army and we can conquer the rest of the enemy country with the Duke as our figurehead.

This kind of war brings more problems than benefits.

My new plan is below.

Cult orders
Teach Kate and Mischa how to mutate other humans in Lesser Wordbearers. Lesser Worbearers are similar to Wordbearers but noticeably weaker because they are created by pathetic mortal magic (on other hand mortality rates should be lower)

Tell Mischa that there are more pressing matters than finishing her current project right now. She should wait few months till we return and cult will grow in power to get one hundred slaves with no risk.

Inform the cult that you are leaving for few months and form a clear chain of command  Triada>Wordbearers>Lesser Wordbearers>cultists>slaves. Triada is appointed by Nokluvgn. Current triada will be - Duke, Kate, Mischa. Let Triada decide how to make cult more powerful in your absence

Assemble a small but deadly force composed of, 10 spectres, 8 wights riding brutewolves, Malkus on his horse and the demon himself. Stealthy cross the border with Tokzoku Empire, go relatively deep in their territory, attack a village, kill everyone, raise villagers(including long dead ones in cemetery)  as low levels undead and move to attack another village. Repeat few times till we have a respectable undead army and\or attract attention of someone powerful, then decide what to do next


Angel knows about our existence, so there are no real reason to hide from forces of good. I want to bring Tokzoku Empire down while our cult keeps growing more or less in the background.

Bringing the empire down while growing the cult in the republic will eventually put us in the position to conquer land for the cult republic maxin our power in no time

I think our cult is in a very good position to grow further without our babysitting. They have a reliable and not suspicious sources of profit. They have an armed branch. They have two strong magic users and 7 Acolytes. They have ultraviolet imps for spying. They have black imps for copper mining and digging underground temples. They have a  ruler of the province.

On other hand we have a competent tactician champion, we have a bunch of strong undeads, we have brutewolves and we have a 40 power demon. It is a very respectable force to spread evil and destruction. There are good reasons why we shouldn't do it in Fozdoch (tax payers and potential cultists should stay alive) but there are no reason to not do it abroad.

No, mutation is probably too hard to do for mortals with an acceptable death rate. instead teach them how to grant minor boons to other mortals. like +1 to a random might - now needs human flesh to survive.
Also - anyone modified like that will be called a word. - not lesser Wordbearer. We want our minions to know that we will not discriminate against them. Only against anyone not in the cult or a potential .
See if the Krl- Knv- ... K-Beasts breed with humans.
Controlling that many undead would be a hassel. Just raise them and let them loose. undead hordes roaming without clear ties to us will create more dread than the unescapable army of doom. Also - smaller cells will require the inevitable goodie twoshoes that try to fight them to split up. Easier to take out for some of the brutewolves that will be hunting in the wake of the hordes.

I am still for pinning the destruction of the (startingvillage) to either the K-Beasts or a neighboring village and using it to evacuate our cultists to somewhere useful, like a different fishing village, which they can corrupt. On order of the Duke have everyone of the target village be required to help the cultists and house them with the other families. Near instantly corrupting the village from the inside.

 See if the K-Beast-bloodied water is !!fun!! to drink/bathe in for humans(one male and one female should do the trick - for testing potential powerups, of course).

I don't know what triada means, but three is not a number we should restrict ourselves to. name them Vassals and make it clear that they are equal. Also: why the Duke? Shouldn't that be Malkus?

Roaming undead are not as good as undead under competent leadership. As for no clear ties to us... WE WANT CLEAR TIES TO US. We want mortals to be afraid of our army and our name.

Council of three is a good number to actually manage things. They can make decisions by majority vote without wasting much time. Getting few dozens of equal "vassals" will bring a political chaos.

Why do we want clear ties to us? Just because there was a creature that we think might be an angel that will miraculously find a group of dogooders and hunt us down and we need the miniscule additional power of them knowing our name? They can't even remember it without getting a headache, it will just be "The Demon" anyway.
In this game we are good at infiltration. The Previous one had us become a warlord. There was an angel game that lead basically to 0 demons killed after a month iirc. If we take that as a benchmark we got all the time we need to get stronger.

The Village is gone and burnt. People WILL notice. Why not give them reason to believe the cause was anything other than cultists, and let the case be closed WITHOUT them finding our underground temple? It will save us a headache later - one possible outcome is an alleged angel going: "There was a demon there. Where are the survivors, let us interrogate them." If that leads her to an area where the evil is so thick that it weakens her we can capture her at our leasure.
Of course we do not need to have all of them "survive" - Maybe let our cultists decide what they want to do - infiltrate a village, work in the mines, live with the brutewolves or become part of the mercenaries.

We do not do politics. If we are in the room the only vote that counts is ours. If one of the vassals is in the room his or her vote counts. If one of them disagrees with the others and brings reason to the table the other one better listens. If the disagreement can't be solved it must be important and be brought to us, at which point our decision will be final.

The duke is a minion, not a leader. If anything the woman that won the tournament would be better suited and needs to be rewarded... I say make Malkus a Vassal, ask him if he wants a female to pose as his "wife".

Thing is that we have no reason to hide from the angel and mighty forces of good because they know that we exist. And we don't care much if they spell our name wrong. We want them to be afraid (but note that my plan for this turn has nothing about disclosing our name. I am just not afraid of it)

We will not get stronger fast enough if we will be passive. You want to pretend that the angel never happened and keep slow development.
We can be good at infiltration in one place and go on killing spree in another.  Doing nothing but increasing size of our cult will leave us weak

Because it is plain stupid to inform the province about K things. They are our strategical reserve
Because they may find the entrance to the temple and enter it... to never come back alive
Because Fellshore is no different to Lesp.

Ok, let us take a step back.
What do we want- or rather - what do we NEED?
Let's try to adapt Maslow's hierarchy to our Demon:

On a base level we want an influx of evil, because that is what keeps us physically alive. Are Air Water and Food optional?

On the next level we want safety - from the forces of good as well as random eldritch forces - either through secrecy or overwhelming power. Overwhelming Power might make the previous step difficult, as eating everyone around us would give us overwhelming power, but will not sustain the influx of evil.
An agreement with the forces of good, that would legally bind them into not attacking our Domain is a good long-term goal that i  will be working towards, as soon as we are powerful enough. The Path i would suggest for now would be secrecy.

On the next level... let's ignore everything except for family. we have two children in the works and interacting with them would be good.

The next level is Esteem -  leader of our cult. good enough for now. If we have the ability why not control it all. Leave nothing to others.

The final level -For now ... maybe find a hobby?



Current short term goal:
-> My suggestion

Use The Asset - Villagers of Fellshore:
-> Mass infiltration of another village

Use The Asset - Misha:
Use the Asset - Mine:
-> accuse a village near Fellshore of raiding and have the 100 sacrifices for her ritual + workers for the mine.

Use the Asset - Kate:
-> continue learning from Misha - make it clear that she is not her enemy somehow?

This is never going to work.

Remember, us pretending to be a good guy heavily damaged us. I do not think a good guy could willingly allow evil to exist. It seems like the very fabric of this universe rejects such things.
