For what it's worth SenBow I'm going to be picking up Crushing for Dale once I final class. Mainly because it makes sense to me that a guy who can draw back heavy bows but has no melee skill would decide that it's better to just get a fuckhueg blade and smash things with it rather than try to be fancy.

This essentially. Since it's my first time in the GM ring I started with a small amount of players (and I think FEFs tend to have splintered introduction anyway).

They usually do. Sometimes they drop the whole party in at once but it's usually a few per map until everyone's in.
