I am waiting for the artifact release. That way, I can find the new tags and find out how they work so that Culture Shock can be compatible with the new version.

A truly dark age is beginning to take shape. Ancient cults of death and night begin their unnatural rituals to weaken the barriers between the mortal plane and the Realm of Twilight to further their twisted plans by obtaining foul resources from the Realm of Twilight. But an unforeseen side effect begins to show itself. Night trolls of all kinds begin to cross into the mortal plane, kidnapping mortals to turn them into their spouses and terrorizing the villages of the realm. But unlike the night creatures who have spent millennia on the mortal plane, these newer creatures are larger, tougher, and are capable of using powers that would frighten even the bravest of beast hunters. However, it is said that there is a horrid creature that escaped from the Realm of Twilight that is incredibly powerful, a lot more so than the invading night trolls...

Now you will know why you fear the night.

Coming soon...

Hey, guys. I'm finally beginning work on something to go along with Culture Shock.

The race expansions!

I'm working on those alongside the next update, which won't be too big...

Sound good?

Does this distant folk addon require the main mod?

Does this distant folk addon require the main mod?

All it requires is Stal's Weapons Pack.
But it is meant to go with the main mod, so I recommend downloading the main mod and then downloading Distant Folk.

All right, fair enough. One thing I might recommend, if you have the time, is the creation of a different version of your mod containing only your new additions, without edits to the vanilla raws or reliance on other mods. This would probably be useful for people who like to add mods on top of one another without risking incompatibilities. My own mod, Fantastic Races, works on this principle, but I don't want to obstruct your creative vision or anything so don't worry about it if you'd rather not do that.

I see. Most of my mod messes with the vanilla raws however, so releasing a different version with just the new additions would change the mod drastically from its original path...

I suppose so. It would depend on what has been added to the vanilla raws. For example, any  new items, creatures, civilizations, reactions, or other such things can have their own files rather than being added to pre-existing ones. So if this is the issue, there is no problem. But if you have not added, but rather edited things that already existed in the vanilla game, then yes I understand your predicament.
