Sniper Scope: Repurposed civilian lenses in a tube with some appropriate markings for distance measurement, designed to attach to the Hive Rifle.
Mining Pick: Scavenged mining equipment improves the melee capabilities of those equipped while also allowing them to mine for resources when not engaged in battle.

The Genestealer hive is a robust and insidious creation. However, I am of the concern my fellows that the insidious machinations of chaos must be dealt with quickly enough.

Unfortunately, I have little ideas, my brother. Perhaps some of our more blessed among us can be equipped and sent out. To drag and take forth the mines upon which we toil.

As such.

I would recommend?

A few perhaps 3 cultist squads and 5 enlightened ((genestealer squads)) as well as the attempted take over of the areas we have already established a presence in?

Hopefully, this will please father greatly!

((Gene stealers need dudes I noticed and always wanted to try a game like this! ))

Darn, I could almost have said that the Chaos side is in more peril.

The present state of play.

We have:
10 Squads of Genestealers (We have been setting them to recruit)
6 Cultists Squads (At M1)
1 Goliath Truck (At Temple)
Resources (1170 Manpower, 160CE, 190ME)

We can afford 6 squads of Fleshrippers at most. We could buy and equip 5 squads of cultists. The bottleneck is CE in both cases.

So your recommending we send the ones who rip flesh and our fellows where exactly? I can see where your coming from certainly though. Both can be useful and we are struggling a bit with equipment of the civilian manner.

Perhaps we could tey to seize a warehouse though solidifying out positions could be useful as well.

Checking the map, our options are limited. If we want to avoid drawing even more attention we should avoid sending non-human squads up the spire.

So we could:
Build 6 Fleshripper squads and move them to M1
Move the 6 Cultist squads to M2.

The Goliath doesn't help us so much this turn. We could advance it to M2 in preparation for moving some of the cultist squads more quickly. Otherwise, we are better off holding it back until we actually fit it with a weapon or we need to hurry our reinforcements.

We could also make use of it to move heavily reinforce M2 this turn.
Build 6 Fleshripper squads.
Move 5 Fleshripper squads to M1.
Move 6 Cultist squads to M2.
Load 1 Fleshripper squad into the Goliath.
Move the Goliath to M2.

Finally, we could look into more balanced recruiting options, like recruiting 2 cultist squads, 1 Goliath. With the aim of being able to provide consistent reinforcements for our front line.

We could (And should?) deploy the Genestealers to the front. They'll have to be our combat force, and we need to strike pretty soon, the enemy has NOT been idle while we've been building up.

Just have the Genestealers push straight to the front at maximum speed, I guess. See if we can force them to fight instead of just allowing them to take things.
