A well-timed mission is sometimes a very nice thing.
Gah! This is VERY early for us. Unfortunately, it will be production that suffers.
By middle of the year, we fulfill the mission shown earlier and our Stability gets into positive number!
Now THIS is very interesting!
Rio de Oro borders Arguin and produces Slaves as a commodity.
Hmm... can we wrestle the province on the negotiations table?
You won't know unless you try!
King August Wilhelm is however reluctant to launch an invasion of the British Isles.
We might as well goad the English into landing on our coast, then crushing their forces with our superior skills!
Sweden decides to meddle in, dragging their vassal, Muscovy, into the war.
Unfortunately for the Swedes we have a land connection with them, through Finland.
The Portuguese, as expected, landed in Schleswig, but one of our Armies was already waiting.
They were chased to Jylland.
Now this is some serious escalation.
Bohemia in meanwhile decided that they have a shot at stealing Ratibor from us. Bad move!
Burgundy and others join Bohemia, which loses its army.
Still, we're facing a combined mass of 300k soldiers from all over Europe.
We take a loan for any possible expenses that might show up.
The Swedes taste Prussian steel firsthand.
Mr.Selasisky drives them through Viborg and all the way into heartlands of Finland.
We adopt the title of Defender of Faith - for better morale and reduction of war exhaustion.
Battles rage in Sweden, Sandomierz, Bohemia and Styria.
Our enemies make a crucial mistake in letting Bohemia lead that one war.
After they lose their main Army, the Bohemian King quickly sends a peace envoy, despite the fact that Burgundy and their friends had 80k troops to deploy.
This will put some pressure off us. We can concentrate on our first, and main, conflict, with Castille-Sweden-England over possession of Rio de Oro.
This is crazy; our smaller troops are prevailing over masses sent by Castille, Sweden and even Hungary.
There's so many minor battles and skirmishes that see annihilation of anywhere between 5 to 10 thousand enemy troops that I have hard time keeping up!
Sweden is out of the war!
Next, we need to deal with England to grab Rio de Oro.
There must be quite a line to the Gates of St.Peter nowadays.
The battle in Vorpommern was really a fluke; Castillian soldiers tried to embark on their ships, but King of Mecklenburg sent his tiny fleet to intercept the Castillian armada.
In chaos that ensued, the Castillian land forces had nowhere to run and were thus annihilated by our forces.
No wonder the English have been distracted from our lands - they're at war with Byzantine Empire.
Acknowledging our mutual and common enemy, we've entered military access treaties with the Byzantines.
Nowadays, even the Georgians and Nizhnyi Novgorodians are fetching their troops across the Steppes to fight us. And then they die horribly.
I should mention the bravery and combat prowess of Duchies of Sandomierz, Sieradz and Polotsk. They're sending troops to siege Hungarian provinces often and with great success.
However, despite nearly 50% war score, Castille, leader of the war, still refuses to hand over Rio de Oro, which requires at least 4% war score.
Their stubborness is crippling their stability as the people get mad over rejection of such simple demand.
Our military victories unfortunately do not go hand-in-hand with our economic situation.
Even despite cutting spending and maintenance, we still cannot afford to repay the debt, leading to its extension.
With their Stability plummeting and their Hungarian possessions being taken over, King Enrique of Castille signs peace.
Besides Rio de Oro, we take a sizeable amount of money. We won't hold on it for long, though - there's a massive loan we have to repay, after all.
Still, we've won what some jokingly described as 'The Great Coconut War'. After all, coconuts was the first thing us Prussians ever wanted from Africa, right?
