The Year is 1400 AD, The "Countries" of Mozkeria and Arakia have been mostly at "peace" with only minor raids and skirmishes for the last several hundred years, that is until now. Today two delegations of master wizards have offered one of their number to teach for a year and a day and change the course of history forever- why? a simple bet on who had the better teachers, and with these "teachers" help there is no way that they can lose...

This is a ARMS RACE game, which means you take command of a member of a Group of "Designers" whose job it is to quickly design weapons, armor and anything else of use for production in the following year, I will be Further refining the rules of this as time goes on, But so far for every design you produce I will roll (3) D6s- and use the total of that to determine just how well your design functions- There are Four Phases to every full turn the "DESIGN" Phase- where in you make entirely new things OR treat as an additional... "REVISION" Phase, in which you Fix flaws, Add features, and generally make things better, next you have the "PRODUCTION" Phase, where in you allocate resources and determine the priority of various things. Finally you have the Combat phase, where in men go out and die for your cause, and hopefully you don't lose land you control. Ocasionally I will add an "EVENT" Phase before or after another phase which may gain you benefits for cause problems for the other team.

An Explanation of Tags:
[Cheap] Defines an item that every man in the army can have one IF it doesn't require a limited resource, OR something everyone may use
[Expensive] Defines an item which would be restricted to groups of Specialists, or "every officer", It is also applied to structures which a limited number of people may use at a time.
[Slow] Defines something which either takes a significant amount of effort to get to a usable state, or which can only be used once in a while
[Fast] is the Exact opposite
There are also tags that Explicitly apply to magic, [Simple][Easy][Medium][Hard] and [Impossible] Which define what percentage of your wizards can safely use it, with even the least trained being able at [Simple] and only "heros" at [Impossible]

Finally you have Knowledge tags, Which Tell you how much you know about a field, they are [Nigh-nonexistent][Novice][Apprentice][Adept][Expert][Master] and [Legend]
With each level giving more- and more clear information, No, I do not expect this to go on long enough for either side to reach [Legend] even in their base School.

The "island" is divided into two sections, with only three non sea based ways to each other side it
The First Route is The Grasslands - A mostly flat grassy area, it is both mineral poor and lacking in wood- however it is very fertile which has lead to fighting over it often.
The Second Route is The Pass a gap through the rock of the mountains, it is Very mineral rich but has no plants of any discription.
The Third Route is The Beach a Sandy area where some of the best trees grow strangely enough- however outside of those trees very few "useful" resources have been found.
Each Country's Capital is located in an area where fairly average forest grows.

 "Stalwart" Sword: A Strong- if somewhat short metal sword, often Doubles as a wood axe or shovel among soldiers
 "Knightmare" Spear: Long wooden spears, very unwieldy but devastating against charging Mounted troops
 "Hunter" Bow: a Small and somewhat weak bow used more oft by civilians then soldiers
-Armor-
 "Rough hide" tunic: Armor made from mildly undercured leather, protects against some cuts, and *only* covers the chest, crotch, upper arms, and upper legs areas
-Other-
 "pipsqueak" Horse: Relatively small horses capable of quick maneuvering but not endurance running

-Weapons-
 "Razer" sword: A Long and very sharp- if somewhat delicate curved sword, some officers are known to remove their facial hair with theirs
 "Headsman" Lance: Long wooden lances, Unwieldy off horseback, but nigh always lethal in a successful charge
 "Tontaker" Bow: a Large heavy bow, few people possess the physical strength needed to bend one, let along the dexterity to fire it.
-Armor-
 "Turtle" Plate: expensive Armor made from Iron with some leather sections, Protects against some attacks and comes with an unturning helm, *Only* covers the Head, chest, and Waist.
-Other-
 "Hardtrack" Horses: Rather large and bulky horses capable of running with quite a bit of excess weight for quite a while, However they aren't too much faster than a running man.

You might want to provide a little more detail on the rules. What rolling system are you using? Expense system? Any other notable rules? For that matter, you should probably cover the basics for non-AR players.
