Autumn, 1890, Design Phase.Well, we must admit this isn't too great. We haven't had time to properly build up our naval forces yet after all. But, luckily with our fast shipyards, so long as we do well and are able to hold on we can beat them in a prolonged conflict as we build more and more ships and outpace their shipbuilding industry. Still, I personally cannot believe those pawns did something so incredibly stupid and have the audacity to blame us for it... At least this is an opportunity to put them in their place.
Regardless, we have many ways to push against the Nemors, designers and admirals. It's up to you where our forces will be deployed, what our goals are, and the overarching strategy in this conflict. Luckily, because of the start of this war, the king has generously put more funding into the war effort, and it's bound for our budget to grow larger and larger as the economy mobilized to wartime production...So long as we can prove that our forces are necessary for victory, which should be fairly easy.
We also should organize our fleets into taskforces...It will make things easier. We can also assign a ship or man to lead those forces...We also should name the ships under construction.
Our Serpent class, currently designated as SC-06, is ahead of schedule in its construction! As is the Minnow 11!

Minnow Class Corvette: A corvette with a single three inch gun and two, two inch guns. Additionally has three surface torpedo launchers and is capable of a speed up to twenty four knots. Is fairly maneuverable, and can carry a small platoon of soldiers should need be.

Serpent Class Light Armored Cruiser: A Armored cruiser armed with three six inch guns, two in a forward turret, one in the back. Additionally has a secondary armament of six three inch guns, three on each side of the ship along with two submerged torpedo tubes, one on each side. Capable of a surprising nineteen knots at flank speed, and armored with three inches along the ships belt with the main turrets having a similar level of armor. Has had a central rangefinder installed in the bridge.
Costs 5/2 PP, 5 seasons construction time.
