Let the Bullet of Bullets begin. May the dice favor them.

If I may ask, what's wrong with the Bullet Hound that you're only voting for one?

Usually, in arms races one design can be voted for, as this is not the case,

In this case we've had doubled phases so far. Going forward, it will be 1 per phase.

I'm sorry I say it so late that you have already decided, but the Bullet Hound is in the VH category.
Edit:also, what size the abdomen supposed to be on it?

Damnit people, this is why I said to keep the truce. Because now everyone's ganging up on the cats.
Also, don't forget to contact your local Eldritch Being(s), so that they can help with our mission to destroy the universe.

In proportion to the rest of the body.

Also I mean hey, that's the advantage of doing it in the pregame turn, that if it goes wrong we can just do it better next turn.

Would removing the abdomen and just keeping the venom in the fangs be fine? Given it's more likely for that part to be recessive, while the carapace and regular dog body are dominant. The mandibles would likely be at the sides of the mouth to help insure prey doesn't get away.

Bullet Hound

Dobermen Body Dominant, Bullet Ant body recessive.
Bullet Ant Carapace is Dominant, Doberman Fur recessive.
Bullet Ant venom gland is dominant, with edits for Venom being injected through bites.

?

Would it have been -3 if we didn't have the insect module by the way?

The venom in the fangs is likely to actually be the harder part of the two.
If I'm understanding the rules correctly, the Abdomen is actually the single easiest part of the whole thing, because it's a completely unaltered body part. The carapace increases the difficulty significantly because we're partially changing every single part of the dog.
Modifying parts selectively is more difficult than just replacing the whole thing. If we really wanted to decrease difficulty, we'd remove any mention of venomous fangs/mandibles(or use an ant head instead of a dogs)/carapace on dog bits

In fact, I'd argue that removing the abdomen would make the design harder since we'd have to further modify a different part of the dog to add venom glands.

Well, I am fine with the VH tag, just wanted some more info from rock on why and if it could have been worse.

Yes, without the facility it would have been a -3 or impossible, and yes, the Abdomen is the easiest part, but what tric suggested would be hard because it does not have either the enhanced strengths or mandibles.

Infrastructure: 'Strength of an Ant' Enhancement Lab

A structure dedicated to improving the overall physical strength of our creations, mostly focused on improving ligaments in muscles and joints through research of the ant's ability to move items that far exceed it's size, and applying that to other creatures. This will allow what we create to be stronger than average without having to dedicate resources during their initial creation. The work  is a bit complex, but it should also mean that larger creatures have the strength needed to move said bodies.

A question of the VH or H difficulty for this one. Generally, I would go Hard since higher numbers means improved performance, and Doberman are already quite strong when it comes to bite strength.
