"Shifts back to" by removing your vote from Toonyman, you reduced the likelihood of getting your preferred lynch.  Plain and simple.

Yes, any lynch will provide us with information, but we're not going to get more information from lynching a relative lurker than from lynching someone who's very active in the thread. More interactions equals more information. Wouldn't that help your votecount-history-focused playstyle more?
