Talk him down. We may or may not need to execute him afterward, but for now, he doesn't seem to be doing this out of malice, just out of stupidity.

Talk him down.

Guy doesn't want to be a bad guy, he just doesn't want to die. We can promise him a (relatively) safe place to hone his craft, and plenty of places he could choose to settle down on his own if he doesn't want to serve under us directly in some capacity. Defusing the situation, regardless of his decision, could provide us with better standing among mortals. We're already warriors of unparalleled skill and everyone knows it. We've proven we can negotiate to the same degree with Xenos, so we should extend that same courtesy to another human.

+1 to talking him down.

(Also, as an aside: Tube, why do you use bold red for all the astartes' speech?)

Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

(I use Bold Red for the Sentinels of The Watchtower because there isn't a gray color and messing around with the highlighters for rust-red would be slightly time-consuming, so Bold Red is the next best thing. It's based on the colour of their armour, for the most part, Ultramarines would be using Bold Blue for example. Also, if the dialogue from Astartes seems somewhat samey, that's by intent, the Chapter's psychology is largely homogenized.)

(There is in fact a grey color, as well as a silver one.
This thread has all known color names that work here.)

(What? whew, and here I thought it was just the ones on the dropdown. Thank you for illuminating me, I'll retroactively edit the Chapter's dialogue when I have some time later.)

(There is also transparent for invisitext, which can be paired with glows [which can also be any of the given colors] to produce fuzzy/ethereal text.)

That’s usually how voting works, but don’t let that stop you from voicing a differing opinion. For all I know I’m looking at the whole situation backwards and you could enlighten me.

I was gonna say we should just fill him with lead and not have to deal with the potential of him going rogue or killing a bunch of people later.

In general, I agree, but it's better to do it when he's not mind-controlling a bunch of hostages.

I thought this was a setting that didn't really give a shit about an apartment building's worth of civilians get killed?

Yeah but we're trying to be BETTER than the Imperium. Also the fallback option is "our psyker uses psychic wallhacks to dome the guy without mass casualties", not "riddle the building with bullets until the psyker says he's stopped existing".
