Schedule

  • Sep 30: Locked-in. Ventures by Torchlight
    (N/A)
  • Oct 14: Locked-in. Losing Is Fun - Part II
    (N/A)

  • Oct 28 Nov 4: Locked-in. CYOGTCG Wars
    (Perk OK)
    1 week break.

  • Nov 18 Nov 25: Locked-in.
(Perk OK) Auxiliary 1: Only run if 1 win by both players.

NEW: We're gunna do an underdog bonus.
Quote
For fairness, I have decided to standardize this. When a player is losing, they can choose 1 underdog bonus:

TYPE 1
A. Pro Tips: The host will coach you in how they would try to win, so long as it doesn't make the event "very hard" for the opponent.
B. Premonition: Learn about 1 unrevealed trial at least 7 days before your opponent.

TYPE 2
C. Perk: A gameplay advantage, can be anything the host decides, so long as it doesn't make the event "very hard" for the opponent.
D. Rain Check: Next time you win, you get a Perk in the following event. (may be themed on your win)

You can only choose each bonus once. TYPE 2 may not be available for all events, in that case you replace that bonus with a TYPE 1.

It feels weird nominating people who haven't volunteered...
That said, my nominee is TricMagic.

Good choice, for me I'll nominate Mephansteras. That guy is waaay too smug! He should suffer some trials to humble him a bit.

(Be sure to say something nice about your nominee when you post, so I can include a friendly quote when I PM them.)

Nominee unable, so I'll change my choice:

I nominate FallacyofUrist. He's won a few of my games and is versatile.

It feels weird nominating people who haven't volunteered...
I think there's a certain charm to it, but perhaps it is necessary to open things up, like was done for Reth's Forum Runner 2.

So, I will welcome self nominations!

I'm going to nominate Nirur Torir.
They were one of the most active and clever players in my original Bay12 Gridhood Game, and they are still using these forums to this day.

TricMagic dives head-first into the game, taking out a loan to outfit an adventurer.
Dunamisdeos takes a more conservative approach of not joining. A risky move, but will it pay off for him?

I find myself in the most confusing environment I could possibly find myself in for a old man on the internet: An unfamiliar forum game format. I have awoken in a land where men bid on other men for the purpose of adventure. Intent on purchasing what the locals refer to as a (checks notes) Bean Doctor, I have placed my bid.
