But we need to remember that each of us, ourself can only claim to be vanilla town, right?  Cause...

I've also decided that the only role anyone is allowed to claim is vanilla town. :)

But we can say anything about anyone else, right?

I think nqt is pure as the driven on snow vanilla town.
Does that mean I can't claim SK and get out of the day early?

It worked the last time…

I missed Max saying a consequence.  Modkills for all?

The only way to get better at balancing is to be bad at it first!

Lol, okay. I'm pretty sure this setup isn't quite there, but we can see how it works.

I'm cool with you taking the time you think it needs.

Re: Maximum Spin's Supernormal Mafia: Dawn of the First Day
« Reply #52 on: January 09, 2024, 10:32:57 pm »

As day dawns, the local deacon arrives by ox-cart to your tiny village. As the nine of you crowd around, murmuring, to meet this illustrious personage, he motions for silence and tells you simply:
"The oracles say that evil has come to you. You must root it out. I will meet with the inquisitors and return at nightfall to hear your decision. Do not fail."

You hear no more from him as the oxen carry him downriver toward the city.

Day 1 has begun. You must choose one of your number for disposal. Should you fail to choose, God himself shall hold the sun in the sky until you decide.
Furthermore, TricMagic is ineligible to be lynched this day.

@Crystalizedmire: are you happy with your special ability?

@notquitethere: do you know yet what you're going to lie about?

@webadict: Tric never told me how to know if nqt is scum, maybe you have an idea?

@Sofanthiel: did you read your role or are you going to not read it again?

@Tric: why can't we vote you, what is going on here?

T'murrow, then?  Tric, whyfor dost thou seem so strange?  And if you could protect someone N1, who and why them?

Dangit, Web, now this super stuff's all rushed.  Do you think that'll help or harm you this game?

NQT, who do you predict are the super to supernormal to normal among us?

Qua, are you ready for me to claim I think you're vanilla town?  Why or why not?

Jack, out of this set of players, which of us would you take into a private chat from D1, and which of us would you day kill if you could, and why?

CrystalizeMire, if you could roleblock one of us tonight, who and why?

sof, if you could give someone a boon this game, who and why?

Fal, if you had the choice between being a revealed Mayor and, well, everyone seems to think you're always scum, so let's say 'not revealed, and possibly not mayor', which would you prefer, and why?

I am, thankfully, vanilla town.

It's kinda refreshing after an endless streak of high-powered mafia roles.

I will vote webadict because he scares me.

Fal, if you had the choice between being a revealed Mayor and, well, everyone seems to think you're always scum, so let's say 'not revealed, and possibly not mayor', which would you prefer, and why?

I'd take being the revealed Mayor. However, I cannot be a revealed Mayor, as I am vanilla town, so the question is possibly irrelevant.

Did I mention that I'm vanilla town? It's amazing. Genuinely amazing.

In the interests of efficiency, I am going to make my one-and-only Day 1 post now:

Claim: Vanilla Townie

Vote: Fallacy

Excuse: Sorry folks, I'm too busy at work to post anything else.

...
After last game, I think this is a solid Day 1 strategy that has a greater chance of getting me into Day 2 than actually playing the game.

You cannot claim Vanilla Townie, as players are only allowed to claim vanilla town.

Prepare to be modkilled.

Did I mention that I am vanilla town?

I am going to (truthfully) claim that I am vanilla town in every post I make this Day.

Damn, copy paste failed me again.

Fallacy is obvscum.

No, I am vanilla town.

I was so gonna let that slide, until we got colors involved.  What a Fallacious-seeming vote.

I don't want anyone sliding into D2.  Except Tric, well, I don't want that.  I just probably can't prevent it.

EuchreJack, any chance you'll reconsider that slide idea?  You've got a nice role there, sure would be a shame if something happened to it before night even came.
