Turn 2: The Ember EraThe Shadow Bird of Light and Flame
With the Shadow Plane still lacking defined terrain, Sornlun, Yalini, and, of course, A-0 worked hard to give it definition. Sornlun's contributions, the Wisp Islands, comprised floating islands of wispy flames in the Four Unseen Colors made from fused shadows (Sornlun: -1 Heaven Act, -1 Flame Act; +Materia). Yalini, finding the Shadow Plane too gloomy by far, poured out an ocean of light on the plane with unknown long-term effects on the health of the Plane (Yalini: -2 Light Acts; +Materia). Last but certainly not least, A-0, original creator of the Shadow Plane, raised the Steelfeather Canopy at the edges of the light sea (A-0: -1 Night Act; -1 Beast Act). Not entirely unlike a stone forest but for the materials and substrate involved, the upright feathers do a good job of keeping the light ocean from spilling out onto the entire plane, and in later ages when life graces the Shadow Plane's surface, the dense thicket of feathers will help provide cover to creatures big and small.
C-c-council?
Gongon has put forth a proposal to enact the
Celestial Policy of Fulgurous Mercy which seems to fall on deaf ears. Perhaps reality confused Gongon's ear-sacrifices with most other Sparks' lack of ear sacrifices?
Maybe
Gongon has struck the Spring of Beginning in their subrealm in the Dull Maybe (Gongon: -1 Ignorance Act). Generating a constant stream of amnestic, lethean water, small brooks of its water wash through the entire plane with no apparent objection from other gods.
Maybe Not
A great many things did not happen in the final ages of the Cosmogonic. Gongon did not empower Gomagic further. Sornlun did not curse blood/wine-drinkers with Remorse and vulnerability to the Sun's other principal aspects. A-0 did not create the Remembrancer. It has been a rather uneventful age.
Sight Sear
Gongon has given bands of maggoty muscle to Yitterbium for the use of Yitterbium's acts now and in the immediate future and additionally sacrificed the rest of their locomotor units with the result that planar travel will require an unholy sum of two Acts of any tier (Gongon: --Locomotion, +1 Chaos Act, +1 Flesh Act, +1 Sanity Act, +1 Ignorance Act; Yitterbium: +Gongon's locomotor muscles, -1 Chaos Act, -1 Flesh Act). Feeling like mere bargaining chips in a conflict they don't quite have the capacity to understand, some of Gongon's kidneys leap out into Sornlun's embrace even as Sornlun's auditory organs join Gongon where they are promptly incorporated in Gongon's fell Anti-Oracle (Gongon: -Ear of Sornlun, -Kidney of Gongon, +2-2 Heaven Acts, -1 Chaos Act, -1 Flesh Act, -1 Ignorance Act; Sornlun: +Kidney of Gongon, -Ear of Sornlun). Aside from its haruspicious ability to provide answers in exchange for godly organs of great value, the Anti-Oracle, whose most visible manifestation is a constellation, also bears a burning hatred for anything else that may be considered an oracle.
Finishing Touches
Noting the Final Shape's incredible inhospitability by the standards of most life-forms, ANTHEM-314 has deigned to raise the Mountain Range of y7rulspowTvwA7ZAfDkpPQ=, a massive continent-spanning massif thoroughly filled with well-lit and furnished caverns of metal below and marked out above for simple navigation (ANTHEM-314: -1 Rock Act, -1 Machine Act; +Materia).
Bolstered by Luka, Neobel Eka has marked out the Season of Remembrance, in which memories bubble up as in sparkling wine especially with skull iconography and skull/hat mugs (Neobel Eka: -1 Noble Act; Luka: -1 Hat Act, -1 Skull Act; +Materia). Remembrance seems to be glaring at Regret for some reason, but nothing interesting happens yet.
Calamos Gladius soon initiates the discovery of another season with a gift of Life from the Neobel Eka. This season, the Season of St. Valentine (Infantry Tank Mk III), is a giddy, slaughter-filled season of love and war more benign than half of the existing seasons by simple virtue of not leaving lasting injuries or deaths (Calamos Gladius: -1 Power Act, -1 Love Act; Neobel Eka: -1 Life Act; +Materia). Lunace seems to be eyeing this new addition warily.
Dawn of Life
The world has passed into the Eozoic Eon.
It is now the season of Forget.
Some things that should not have been forgotten were lost misplaced.
The continued development of the world has pushed things toward a state where all Sparks must choose to
Temper and draw close to the material or else remain
Unquenched and drift about unfettered by the packed materia of a completed world. With the increased complexity in the world, it behooves each god to begin assembling a court of suitable advisors, emissaries, or agents to attend to all the things about to happen. Location is now important as well, and direct acts (e.g. creation, destruction, or combat) require a god's presence at the location of the action. An intact god may travel from one place to another for free once in a turn; subsequent jumps cost one Act of any tier (where Faulty/Feeble Acts may fizzle or malfunction).
